Thank you for the answer. but the stay in karachi was of 6 months so certificate from karachi is also required or not.
It's required for all the cities where your stay has been 6 months or more! |

yes,its is req if the stay is exaclty 6 months or more.what u have mentioned in your docs? Clearance cert can be obtained from ssp office located next to new town police station on stadium road karachi.but before that you need to goto tpo office of your karachi residence area. The clerk will give u a form.you have to get the form signed for local police station .sho signs that.then you have to get back to tpo office where tpo will counter sign it. Finally you have to visit ssp office room no 6 where clerk will collect the documents from you and issue u cert. I think i have a extra copy of tpo office form. I ll scan and give you the link.atleast it will save some of your time |

Does anybody idea about the background check of passports by the CHC in Pakistan? What else more do they seek regarding the passport of the applicants, besides scam etc? Do they check bio data including name/DOB/Birth Place/Adress/Profession etc
or the CHC is interested in only crime/scam etc
If anybody has information, plz share

I am planning to apply for CAIPS. My sister is in Canada and she will apply on my behalf. I want to know what documents are to be needed. I have got some information about it, Just want to know is it correct.
1. IMM5563B ( Access to information and personal information request)
2. imm5475E ( Authority to release personal information)
3. Copy of Passport of my sister
4. Pay Order $5
Secondly, can i fill and sign the IMM5475E ( Authority to release personal information), SCAN it and send it to my sister through e-mail. would it be fine or I need to send it in original through DHL or FEDEX.
Since my file has been transferred to London shall i Write Islamabad or London in Embassy Column.
People who have got CAIPS please advice........

Degrees are not required in University sealed envelops. Only transcripts should be sent in University sealed envelops. Before sending get your degree attested from HEC and Foreign office. You will save some verification time. I have a question from senior members that i have not send the degrees in university sealed envelops. What difference will it make.?

It is better to send them degree verified by HEC and foreign office. This saves time yes it is not neccassary if they have doubt then they verify degree / diplomas.

thanks My preston university degree has a HEC registrar sign on RS 400 stamp.Its on the backside. However Military Academy BA degree has no HEC stamp. In 93 there was no HEC though. |

Dear all esp Saki, Manj and gosho, my application reached to the CIO on Sep 02. I sent the application fee through demand draft in the name of the Receiver General for Canada. Now I want to check whether the CIO charged the DD or not? How can I know? I called the exchange company through which I got the DD made, but they say they can't track the DD and can't tell whether it has been charged or not! Is there any way I can get this information??
