Employment requirements
A doctoral degree in the field of specialization is required.
Licences or professional certification may be required for professors teaching future practitioners in certain professionally regulated fields, such as medicine, engineering, architecture, psychology or law.
 


i have  1.5 years experience in engineering college and 0.5 year exeprience at engineering university  and i have master degree in the field of computer science . 

my question is that am i eligble for NOC 4121 , as  i check all main duties in HRSD web site match to , and i was also teaching to under graduate student.

the only thing which confuse me is the employment  requirment which in HRSD web site say "A doctoral degree in the field of specialization is required."  but i have master degree ,

"am i eligiable for this NOC or not "

you can still apply, i guess you will need a doctoral degree to find yourself an employment as a uni professor, but you may get yourself permanent residence without a PhD.

CIC will not check the emplyment requirement but to get the job you will require it.

Yes, CIC doesn't look into your employment opportunities. You may also start any job to settle in Canada economically. Though you do opt "Baking" as a profession.

Hi, I hav submitted my initial application to CIO, Nova Scotia, Canada with a CAD DD arranged from dollar east. the DD will be in the name of Receiver General for Canada. FYI and others, CIC is only accepting application at Nova Scotia for FSW from 1 April 2009.

Dear Rao, Im not seeing any major depreciation in UDS and CAD in a month or two, but what i hav observed and according to technicals and fundamentals, RS may depreciate more against CAD, my forrcast for the CAD and USD is that both currency would come around the same price. As dollar is weakeing in the world market due to their economic indicators.

Best price to buy USD is 82.50 - 83.10 and CAD, if comes down is 75 -76.50. 75 for CAD is the new resistance line, if it goes down, than this will touch 69. CAD 75 in sept 08, than jan 09 and than in July 09, CAD broke away the barrier of 75 first time. CAD is fluctuating more than USD. but at the same time comes down.

I would pray it comes down, but fundamentals and technicals are not supporting. Whereas, USD seems stable in the longrun with gradual upward trend. USD was 84 in oct 08 and since than it up and it recently touched 84.70 and than again down to 83 in the open market.

Hi Azfar, can you pls tell me how you submitted your Fee ? did you submitted through Standard Chartered band in Pak rupess or CAD ?

and do I have to mail the application to Nova Scotia Canada ? or may i submit it to Islamabad for FSW1 ?

Ans: I sent only non-attested copies except the final year DMC which was a duplicate from the university, in their sealed envelope. The CHC ISB didnt object on it and i got provisional acceptance with it.

you are saying I should get a duplicate of my degree and transcipts to send? I am concerned about the safety of my original docs.

Ali786leo................Yes they enquired about my job but not sure for educational documents...And i belive that they dont make verification for educational documents. Might be they have their own scales to identify the fake ones.

You can not apply as a University Professor if you don't have Doctor's Degree.

Please don't misguide to other members if you don't have appropriate knowledge.

what is your visa office and where they have done your employment check in pakistan or some where else in which noc did you applied and what type of question did the embassy asked from your employer and if your visa office is CHC ISB they talk in english or in urdu.

Dear Amidala,

I say this with surety after confirming from CHC Islamabad that:

1. You may NOT send your transcripts in sealed envelopes. The reason of this is that every country has its own culture and practices, and our degrees and transcripts were issued some times back. Our universities (e.g. Punjab University etc), normally do not give transcripts in sealed envelope (except few leading universities like LUMS etc.) CHC Islamabad accepts original transcripts even if these are NOT in sealed envelope. The requirement is for ORIGINAL TRANSCRIPT ONLY and not the original degrees.

2. You may send the original degrees or notorized copies thereof.  The requirement does not say that you must send original degrees, as such, it is perfectly alright if you get its photocopy notorized and send in lieu of original.

I will appreciate if guidance may be provided on following:
1. My application was received on 8th June 09 by CHC Isb but my status is still" Received by Visa Office" kindly let me know til how long this status is maintained & what is done by CHC during this time.
2. My sister has shifted from Toronto to Mississauga do i have to intimate to CHC about the change of address.
