How long does it take to get a police certificate from Lahore and Karachi if you're no longer living there?

can you or anyone confirm me this: I know for a fact that CHC Isl requires original transcripts in uni sealed envelopes, however no such indication is found for the degrees and certificates, do we send original degrees too?

I sent transcript in HEC sealed envelop and notarized photocopies of degrees.

also, since I applied to CIO NS, I have continued working, and also enrolled myself for an exam in a professional certification. so should I update this is in my "current activity" portion of schedule 1 background declaration, and sign in the new date when i will be dispatching the package? or need to mention the date when i originally applied to CIO NS.

I would appreciate the response from the forum members, like always.

Do they (CIO/CHC) accept the birth certificates of kids that the parents receive from the Hospital or do they only accept birth certificates from Municipal committee office? Will appreciate reply from members who have kids and have applied.

Hi SSKHAN, Hope you are doing well. Question about kids' birth certificate is that much complicated. Actually, when you are applying with your kids means you already have obtained thier passports? Any passports are dependent on B-Form so what you can do is attach; 1) Hopital B/C; 2) Muncipal Committee B/C (if possible); 3) B-Form (and it's urdu translattion);

Or simple you can only submit B-Form and its urdu english translation (noterized)  - above 1 & 2 are just additions as supporting.

I hav e attached hospital certificate, translated Bay Form and with notarized attestation. and in addition the copy of application for passport attested with nazim only. and obviously the passport copy.
Thats what i did, but if you hav time, than do arrange the birth certificate from municipal committee office.

i am fully agree with amerzd,
b form with english transalation is enough. but if u have birth certificates also, u may send , as i did. but it is not necessary.

Scores shall be awarded basis on latest education with the condition if that is earned through full time study.

Are there no points for education in evening program or your education with your Job? What about the part time equivalent studies ? Please clarify because i am confused.

Please don't get confused with words. Here full time study meant "not privately" and on top of all education earned must be recognized by HEC (if in Pakistan). If you come under this criteria then you feel relaxed.

i am not sure , but what i believe is that u will get points for ur degree if it is recognised by HEC. even if u get it as an external (private) candidate. .
what may be confusing people is word private, i think degrees in pakistan that are recognised by HEC will be granted points and private does not do any thing with external candidate degree, it may something to do in other countries where private colleges grant degrees with there internal exams. but in pakistan  if one is given board exam. or a BA degree from karachi university as an external (private candidate) should be fully accepted and earn points for it.

You have to sign on each and every place where an applicant has been asked. Regardless, you are forwarding where either to CIU, NS or CHC ISB.

Dear Rao, Im not seeing any major depreciation in UDS and CAD in a month or two, but what i hav observed and according to technicals and fundamentals, RS may depreciate more against CAD, my forrcast for the CAD and USD is that both currency would come around the same price. As dollar is weakeing in the world market due to their economic indicators.

Best price to buy USD is 82.50 - 83.10 and CAD, if comes down is 75 -76.50. 75 for CAD is the new resistance line, if it goes down, than this will touch 69. CAD 75 in sept 08, than jan 09 and than in July 09, CAD broke away the barrier of 75 first time. CAD is fluctuating more than USD. but at the same time comes down.

I would pray it comes down, but fundamentals and technicals are not supporting. Whereas, USD seems stable in the longrun with gradual upward trend. USD was 84 in oct 08 and since than it up and it recently touched 84.70 and than again down to 83 in the open market.
