Interview is required only when there is some ambiguity in their mind about the details given in your papers. Experience shows that if everything is in order, it generally is 'waived-off' but CHC reserves the right to call anyone for interview whether fast track process or the old system of evaluation.

Hope that answers your question.

Regards,

Manj

thanks..now im relax...prayers to all people on this forum to recieve their reply soon..i also wanna know that is in fast track there is any step of interview require or not....

Dear All,

I also have the same question as afaraz and will be grateful for reply. My questions are:

1.  How can we send money overseas to CIO and for other matters? Can we simply go to a bank or Western Union or Dollar East and get international money order/international Demand Drafts?

2. How do we find out if the international money order/international Demand Draft has been encashed?

3. Do we have to send reference letter from every employer or just the recent one is enough?

1. CHC Islamabad has designated some Standard Chartered Bank branches in different cities, which make demand draft for Canada. If you get their services, you may be able to find when your draft has been encashed, or,
2. If you have a foreign currency account with any of your banks, you can utilize it for same purpose and would know when draft is encashed.

2. How do we find out if the international money order/international Demand Draft has been encashed?

Sorry, no clue at all about this. May be, the Western Union or Dollar East can provide you with some answer (if they make such demand drafts).

3. Do we have to send reference letter from every employer or just the recent one is enough?

Yes, you need to have reference letter from your previous employer/s for submitting with the final application.

Dear Manj,

Thank you for replying. Can you/someone please answer a very important question related to sending money:

Is having a foreign currency account (and that too in Standard Chartered bank) a MUST in order to send payments to CIO and latter on to CHC (if and when the stage comes)?

If someone does not have a foreign currency account in any bank, then how does that applicant send the money to CIO and then to CHC (again when and if the stage comes).

I am really confused about this and will be VERY thankful for reply from you/all who have been through the experience of sending money to CIO/CHC.

Please help/reply. Thank you.

I have read on this forum that you can also get the bank draft from Western Union / Dollar East / H & H Exchange / Galaxy / WallStreet. I have researched for Karachi only. But I dont know how to confirm that the DD is encashed at CIO. Also there is a confusion that in case of rejection how i can claim this amount.

Dear Afaraz,

I saw a reply to your this particular question by somebody on some other thread, and he had advised you to contact your ex-superior/director or someone who knew you well from the top in the previous (closed) office, and get a letter from him narrating your position/designation, and the duties which you performed under that position. The person so giving you this letter now (which could be without letterhead) has to give his contact details and offer that he may be contacted for verification.

My situation was exactly same and my consultant advised exactly similar. I managed contacting and getting a letter from on of my directors to submit in my final application.

Dear Manj,

1) You amongst some other members seem to be most experienced in all matters. Can you kindly help and reply to my question about how to send money to CIO and later on to CHC (for RPRF or whatever it is called) if someone does not have any foreign currency account.

2) Can we send money orders/bank drafts overseas using Western Union / Dollar East???

I will be grateful for help on this.

Dear SSKhan,

Could you please tell me which city you are in at? I am in Islamabad and I would be happy to assist you to resolve your problem here. However, if you are far away then I would suggest you take either of the following steps to get your payment made;

1. Please approach any of your friends/family who has a foreign currency account in ANY of the banks. A draft needs not to be from your own account. Get the draft made through his account in Canadian dollars for exact amount. You can pay him the fee amount and draft charge in local currency or buy from open market to compensate him.

2. Go to any branch of the Standard Chartered Bank and inquire form them which branch deals with CHC Islamabad account. Approach that particular branch and get their services for fee payments.

3. In extreme case, call me if you are in Islamabad or Rawalpindi. I will get the draft made for you from the bank. This is the best I can do at the moment.

Dear Manj,

I am extremely grateful for your kind offer. It's amazing that even today there are people willing to all and go to the extent to which you have extended you offer.

I am based in Lahore and unfortunately everyone that I know (including myself) only has a local currency account in various banks. I appreciate your kind offer but for now can you (if possible) confirm if I can send bank draft/money order to CIO and CHC (and for other various matters e.g. FBI clearance and Iowa State police etc. etc.) using Western Union or Dollar East?

Best Regards.

Hi All,

Asslam-o-Alikum

Its feels me proud when ever I look any where about Pakistan unity, Infect First i proud as a being Muslim then as a being Pakistani.
Its a great blessing of Allah that we brought up in Muslim family, Muslim culture.

Sorry let me introduce myself. I m Tariq Akram (26 Year old ) Now a days i am working in Afghanistan in some fuels company as a IT Administrator. i have done my BS(4 year from AIOU). My field work start as a Software Development/ Engineering and after that i start work as a "Network System Engineer" in gov sector at 17 grades. but i was not satisfied with that because my skills and my field don't allow me to waste my time and life in gov sector. We can achieve salaries, rest, allot of benefits in Gov sector but not the environment which polish our skills. And i joined this Fuels organization in Afghanistan.

You know what problem we have in our culture we never want to be a professional oriented we just focus on Job oriented its not our fault its just because financial condition i think... same thing happened to me ...work 2 year as a Software Developer and Software Engineer then turn in to Computer Network. But as a software Developer i got good expertise and now as Networking in computer science.

I am thinking to apply for Canada immigration from last 3 days I am reading the this forum posts and I clear many thing in my mind and it's really useful. I complete my forms for immigration but have some confusion. Let me run trough me from these problems.

1-This form (IMM5476E) is for representative. I don't have any one. Is there some problem if I don't have any representative? Will it be useful or not for my application?

2- Where do u intent to live in Canada?
Because I don't know which city is best for me for my IT field or for job.
3- Visa Office requested for the process of your application?
Which office I should choose to send my application? I read at CIC site that FSW
Application should be send some other office not in Islamabad because they are not
       Directly process the FSW applications.
4- The Form (IMM5406E) is about additional family information , instruction about name is to put in English and native language.

should i fill the name like this ? Evey name my mom , dad, sisters, brothers.

     Muhammad Tariq Akram
     محمد طارق اکرم

5- I am in afganistan becuase i dont know my job status for how long i would be here what i should i put my address for mailing and contact number. supose i am putting my Home address for mailing and my Contact number for Afghanistan. if after some time i m moving back from Afghanistan to pakistan then how can i change my contact number.

Please i am still at initial stage and little bit confused. i want to put my application with out any error and mistake. so please help me.

Wish you best of luck for all .....

Dear SSkhan,

I believe every person is good amongst us, its how we deal with them.

I am sorry that I would not be able to comment on usage of Dollar East or Western Union as I have not tried them myself. Maybe some other senior member could comment on it.

Regards,

Manj

Dear SSKhan

You could use any forex-exchange company, which could issue a forign currency bank draft. Actually each forex co. has arrangement with thier local banker who actually issue the bank draft.

Salam to all members,

It is almost 5 weeks that I have sent my updated documents after provisional approval of my application. How much more time CHC, Islamabad will take to send me medical instructions?
