Dear All,
Salam,
I am preparing my application under 0213. Kindly guide myself that I had IELTS score which just expired a month ago (IELTS has 2 years of expiry as I know). I had 7.5 Band, Question is; can I qoute same score in application form or do I have to attempt IELTS again before sending application forms in FIRST step.

You have to attempt again as validity of IELTS for Canadian immigration is One year. Its better if you take IELTS before sending application because than you are well aware o number of points scored in Langauge section. I have seen cases where people have to withdraw applications for lack of points in this particular section.

i am shaikh amir bhai anyone telll me that how much band you need for Skilled worker, my masters and graduation are two years. i submited my application in MAY 2008 .. so i planning to give the IELTS exam.... pls tell me the detail and which is better British council or Australia .
i will be very thankful to you

Depends on how many scores you require towards 67. Suppose your ponts shortfall with 8 points then you will tick "Moderate proficiency" in each sections (2 pts each).

4 points for "High proficiency"
2 points for "Moderate proficiency"
1 point for "*Basic proficiency (to a maximum of two points)"

So you never know how much you will gain in 5.5 bands because IELTS gives you average band score.

I have notice that majority prefere AEO (why? I don't want comment here). Can you please share how many points need to make 67 so that we would guide you accurately?

Members Pls help with good advise

can any one help me about presentation of my expereince period.
I am working in private sector since 1990 in IT department with same employeer.
My work experience history detail is here.

From 1990 to 1994  Computer Operator
From 1994 to 2003  Computer Programmer
From 2003 to 2005  System administrator
From 2005 to Date  Manager IT

These above period is arround 19 years.

Whether i should mentioned whole period i.e 19 years as per above designation or i will have to mentioned only 10 years experience out of 19 years experience with same employer with detail job description. I suppose to be mentioned from Computer programer to IT manager.

I have also worked with an organization as a freelance programer from 1995 to 1997, whether i should mentioned this experience also and aquire seperate experience letter from that employer for this specific period

No -> provides evidence of your proficiency in Canada's official language.

If u r at Initial Application stage (Sydney),it doesnt matter whether u have taken IELTS or not,so if u havent thne just check on "No" and if u have check on "Yes".If u r at doc submission stage then u must have taken IELTS,if u have the go with Yes otherwise No,but then it should be followed bya written explaination in case of No.

actually i have been refused for immigration to canada twice. 1st time i applied in 2000 which i had assessed as a computer Operatore and total marks given to me 52

When i applied second time in 2002 i did not disclose my first refusal and due to misrepresentation i become inadmissible for immigration to canada for period of 2 years

in my first application i mentioned my work history as follows:

From 1990 to 2000  Computer Programmer           With Employer "B"

in 2nd attempt i mentioned my work history as follows:

From 1995 to 1997  Asst: Computer programer     With Employer "A"
From 1997 to 2002  Computer Programmer           With Employer "B"

Where as my real work history with Employer "A" is:-

From 1990 to 1994  Computer Operator
From 1994 to 2003  Computer Programmer
From 2003 to 2005  System administrator
From 2005 to Date  Manager IT

These above period is arround 19 years.

I have also worked with  Employer "A"  as a freelance programer from 1995 to 1997,

What should i do now as previous records are exist with CIC.

Now how i should write my work history to cover my previouse mistake.
