If you can easily handle your application from Islamabd while living in UK so go ahead with Islamabad otherwise you can use London visa office as long as your visa still valid for two years. If you apply from Islamabad and your application may approved then later stage you will have to send your passport to Islamabad which is very difficult and illegal to send passport out of country, so I would recommend you to use London visa office to avoid from anxiety, this is my personal opinion.

Since, CIC is committed to complete life cycle of each applicaiton within 12 months so it would be better and convenient for you to apply through CHC London.

I dont think that time frame is different between CHC,iSLAMABAD AND chc, LONDON ...just the difference could be working style or other factors. Otherwise new law sets a time frame for all offices which is min 6-12 months and it is same wherever you go and where ever u apply. Stages time could be different but the finalizing a case should be the same.

Hi,

I have applied in September 2007 as a federal skilled worker category, and I have receiced a letter from Islamabad in March 2009 that if I wish, I can take back my application within 90 days, otherwise they will continue the processing.

The question is How much time is left for my case ?

Can anyone help me in this regards.

Thanks

Second AOR from local CHC is a simple pre-printed letter with only two hand written things

1. Date of the letter
2. Date o Which the embassy received the application

It also have a sticker on it, which is the new file number to be used for all correspondence.
