here is the dead line.....for new students who didn't take student registration for CIMA...

Our registration deadlines of 31 January and 31 July (for the May and November exam sittings respectively) apply to the online registration process.
It is important you that you ensure copies of your educational documents reach us by these deadlines if you plan to sit Professional level papers at the next sitting.

Dear Gurus as I am in last stage of completing my application package for CHC London, please advise should i write Islamabad, Pakistan OR London, UK in Visa Office requested for the process of your application in form imm0008egen. Though my application to CIC nova scotia is of Nov 2009 when it was Islamabad, Pakistan and thats what I wrote in my application to CIC Nova Scotia, an early response in this solicited.

Today its 5th May and i have NOT heard any thing. Did any one else who applied at the same or near time heard any thing??.

Same situation is with me as well .

Now does any one has any idea when i would receive any notice from them regarding Medical Testing?

Shakil, it's a tricky question and a definite answer can only be given by one who has first hand experience. The CMA(Canada) website mentions that ICMAP members can get direct admission in SLP stage but when I applied for it they refused on the ground that I do not have Canadian experience. I had similar kind of experience with CGA where they told me the procedure for exemptions which was not mentioned on their website. So the experience tells that websites do not have complete information. Even having correspondence with their relevant staff is of no use.

Now the MRA with CIMA mentions that the student should be registered and have appeared in exams before becoming Permanent Resident of Canada. So we can assume that after being registered and have appeared in CPGA we can claim the benefit of that MRA. But this is our assumption and not the definite answer. Here I should tell you that I have met two different Pakistanis who had passed CGA but one was refused the membership as his B.Com was of 2 years and the requirement for being a member is to have 4 year graduation where as other just got thru with out any problem.

Azher, You can contact CIMA Pakistan Karachi Chapter on following numbers 3432287, 34322389, 34548840. The registration process is simple if you have credit card just fill out the online form and pay the fees. You will get a receipt mentioning your contact I.D then just scan your documents like, ICMAP Final Certificate, ACMA membership certificate, Consolidated Grade sheet and a signed cover letter requesting CIMA to register you through CPGA route. You can call me if you have any queries.
