Dear SSKHAN
1- Acnowledgment of Receipt. Canadian High Commission, Islamabad
2- Send them origional Certificates they will return you with Provisional acceptance.
3-They need Bank Statement. Bank Certificate can be used a additional document, you can request Bank Manager to mention the amount in your account in C$ as per current exchange rate on BANK CERTIFICATE.
4-They want sattelment funds only in form of Cash in your bank. But you can declare other savings also. Even I have got a cash value certificate of my insurance policy and declare it. This all should be after fullfiling the minimum amount required in CASH.
5-TCS is good.
6-All the documents in urdu must be translated in English. Submit the original (in urdu) along with its translation.
7-Nikah Nama's translantion form is available at any person selling forms outside the City Courts. you can find some typest there who can fill this for use.
8-After provisional approval, next stage is medicals. CHC will send detail information for conducting medicals.
9-Cast will be given in the instruction you receive.
10-Yes, to the doctor.
Please Notarised all the copies of documents not the originals

Thank you for the reply. Can you please also explain what do the following mean:
1) CIO
2) 120 day letter
3) Payment of RPRF

You have said that I can go ahead and send them the original and that they will return all the original documents with Provisional acceptance. What does this mean?

You have also replied that the Medical exam stage comes after Provisional approval. What does Provisional approval mean and what does it indicate?

Dear SSKhan,

Provisional acceptance is declared by CHC when they are sure of your application making 67 points. That means you have passed the points stage now other stages as medical, interview etc

RIGHT OF PREMANENT RESIDENCE FEE

120 days letter is issued to request applicant to submitt the full application with all documents. it is in case of applications applied after FEB 2008.

Thank you very much iateapple. This means that if I am the principal applicant I can go first and my family can follow me.
SSKHAN, I knew some one in the department, this did help. I had 4 sets of finger prints. Sent 2 to each agency. I got their certificate of no-record in about 20 days.

Yes you are right in calculating 14 points, still your overall score is well above 67. Congratulations!

Definatelly non of us is agnet for Canadian Immigration. But here i also want to discuss some point. while submitting my application, I had a chat with various agents here in Pakistan. But many of times i felt like many of agents even have lack of information about new rules (Specially op6 etc). If i compare some of our senior members at this canada immigration forum. like.Rupeshari, Leon, Sohel, PM, SK, Rao, Manj and may others who really spend their time at this forum and Explored www.cic.gc.ca are not less then these people but just not professionals in this field. They allways have been very helpfull  @  free lancers. I really salute them all bec all the time they did a wonderful job to help people with their complicated situations. Though we all not professionals for immigration consultancy and just  common people sharing their knowledge and experience in this area. But do u know the synergy.........When we all come togather to solve some issue we are allways great and really great help for each other.....

Let me explain the whole process for u:

1> Applicant send Initial Application to CIO-Sydney,Nova Scotia Canada(No Docs are reqd at this stage)
2>Application is reviewed under Ministerial Instructions i.e occupation must fall under 38 occupations and duties should match the Occupation as described in NOC(National Occupation List),u can view it at CIC website
3>Once Visa Officer is satisfied that Application is complete and eligible ,they send 120 days letter acc. to which u have to send Applicaiton Forms again with Full Documents to local Visa office .
4>,immedialtely after recieveing applcaition they send AOR(Acknowledgement Of Receipt) which is simply the receipt that says that your dos are recieved by Local Visa Office adn now these will be reviewed,
once they are satisfied that Application is eligible for processig ,Full Application is then reviewed (point grid+ employer verification etc) ,after that they send u letter of Proviosnal Acceptance( In my case I never recieved an AOR but they directly send me Letter of PROVISIONAL Acceptance,though after some delay).In that letter they inform u that they will be sending u Medical Request within few weeks and that ur case is provisionally accepted.

5>After that they send u Medical Request,u undergo medical,doc send ur medical to New Delhi where Canadian Medical Officer finally assess the Medical and send his report back to ur local Visa Office.Once Local Visa oFFICE recieves ur medical and accepts it ,it sends u RPRF+PPR and finally this process ends with Passport STAMPING.

nOW THIS iNTERVIEW USUALLY OCCURS WHEN THEY START ASSESSING UR DOCS and find some confusion ,it is then that they call u for Interview for clarifications.

Hi all, it is a great forum. I am applying  for immigration , I have some questions about my qualifications. I am MBBS, and have done DCH (one year Course), MCPS and FCPS (It requires writing a dissertation and is 4 year training). will I get 25 or 22.there is no university involved in these exams but College of physicians and Surgeons.

I believe you have MBBS which is 16 years i.e. FSc + Medical = 16 years. All others are certification courses or meeting regulatory requirements. If thats the case, you will get 20 points
