assalam-o-alaikum...
 yar i am preparing to apply for the canadian immigration under the electrician category... i have scored 7 overall in my ielts.. and i am currently employed in a construction compnay for the last seven yers and i am also doing my bachelors in electrical engineering.. i am in my final year..
i have a brother in toronto and he is a citizen of canada.. i am 25 years old..
any suggestions regarding my case and points...

Hammad. Make sure you see the description first about the profession you going to apply under FSW in NOC 38. If you have experience in Power side( as it does look to me coz you said are in final year Electrical engineering),Then I am afraid you are not in the list. The rest about your case does look with IELTS 7.0 and 25 year of age and having your brother in canada will certainly give you the passing marks. Good Luck

Nimiboy ..............I have done my [b]FA[/b] as a private candidate (BISE LAHORE) and same as my BA as a private candidate from Punjab University. I have also done my MBA from PRESTON UNIVERSITY Islamabad. (Recognized and stamped from HEC). We allready discuss this issue a lot at this forum. If we study the OP 6 my understanding says that it should not be a problem. Secondly i did talked to many of ireputable immigration consultants all over the Pakistana and they straongly said that it is not even debateable that they dont accept private education as long as it is recognized by some Board or University in pakistan.

             But still i have sent my documents on 4th, May 2009 and just about to recieve teh decission in a few days. So i will definattely write here at this forum if Godforbid, i will be rejected at any point. The problem is the people who got rejected they just dissapear at this forum and dont write teh detail and reason of this rejection. InshaALLHA I will definatelly update in any case when the decission will reach in writting.

I know we have discussed on this issue but I just want to know update if someone successfully got the visa with Private education now you can see the above post of S.K what he said, his friend got refused coz his matric was as Private then later on he accpeted for the PNP now it another confusion that when CIC has refused his appliocation on his private education then why PNP approved his case? what does it means? eligibility criteria of PNP and FSW is different from eachother?
Anyway I will pray for your case as well. Could you tell me that in the form where they are asking for your school name what you wrote in FA and BA?? as you have taken this exam as a private candidate???

I mentioned  Private Candidate/BISEL and for BA private candidate/Punjab University. After Shanbaba i think i am the person waiting for decission as per the documents sent date. Same problem is after getting medical request Shanbaba have dived and no contact any more. It is very selfish i think. This forum is not only to get help but also give help. Anyways If shanbaba is reading this mail ...please keep up grading yourself at this forum and of being a senior it is important to share your history with us.

First of all congrats for your medical. I would like to know that have you applied with private degree / certificate? if yes, in which exam you were appared as a private candidate? and what did u write in school name column in IMMM form?

private degree? i have mba from iba karachi
 i write my school name
if u have private degree like ba or ma etc with institute recognise from HEC then ur degree is valid and equalent to other degrees with same number of years education

I am applying for Federal Skilled Worker Under NOC code 0213. Just wanted to know the followings

1. Besides all 4 forms do I need to send my original birth certificates, travel docs as passport, certificate and degrees while applying. OR should i jsut send the the 4 forms with photogrpahs and fees and wait for the reply from embassy

2. I am planning to appear for IELTs after filling my case. Is that ok if i send them the IELTS report after i submit my case

3. Beside one photo being attached at the application for permanent residence in canada form, do i need to send additional photos. Do i need to write my name and address at the back of photo.

4. In the chekc list there is one declaration given with the heading of Authorization to Disclose Information, do I need to get it print out signed and send it along with my application.

5. Finally once I filled all my application, i need to go to standard chartered bank in karachi fill the fee voucher. Afterwards at what address should i send my application package and is there any apecific courier company or I can use any one of my choice.

You do not need IELTS to apply for initial stage... Only forms plus Fee plus Passport Copy plus two mailing labels are sufficient...

1. Only forms...Application Fee....Copy of your passport and pictures.
2. Yes you can take IELTS at 2nd stage before submitting the documents with full application.
3. You can take a print and then sign it.
4. You have to make a DD in canadian dollars ..check with some reputable money changers in karachi.
5. You can deal with any courier of your choice ..dealing with internationl potal services.
