@ SSKHAN, As you have seen this is knowledge base thread. All of us has learnt from either through this forum or through other means e.g www.cic.gc.ca etc We all are professionals from different organizations with different trades with limited knowledge of immigration rules and laws specially canada. We all here try our best to guide whoever comes here to consult. Our purpose is to guide not to misguide just to take credit. If any post has gone unanswered only reason would be limited knowledge. Seniors at this thread:- Hot-Lier, Domingo, Imran, Ra00, Ja77, ManJ, Rigmarole, Dilawer, Iateapple and others (forget me if I've forgotton) are strong pillars of this thread.

Hi amerzd. The ESSENCE of my post was a compliment and best wishes to everyone rather than a complaint. I apologize if my post was mistaken as a complain. I am sure that in due time someone may be able to help me with my post.
Again my best wishes to all.

Dear respected Friends. I need your help please. As i said earlier I had applied to CIO sydney as a FSW on June 1st.2009 under Code.4131 and 4141. So far i have not received any Response from Sydney about my application.I am from Pakistan and living in UAE, But due to some problems I have canceled My Visa in UAE and will be going back to pakistan in about One Month Time from Today. You all Know all those who Living in UAE will have to deal with CHC London. My questions is......... I will be going back to Pakistan, How will it affect my Case as i will be not be available anymore in UAE to deal My case from UAE ? is It possible for them to shift my case to CHC Islamabad in case i get approve letter from CIO sydney? Or should I withdraw my application? Today is the 54Th day i sent them my application.
If anyone Of you have a good and better idea regarding my case, Please feel Free to give me this advice. I am really confused now. Thanks

i realize this wait is quite depressing but dont worry too much. there's a bright light at the end of every dark tunnel. there are a few applicants on this forum who applied in May and still haven't heard from CIO. the time varies from application to application and i hope you will hear from them sooner than later. as for as your visa office concerned, which visa office you specified on your application form? CHC London or CHC Islamabad?

Thanks Ja77 for your reply. I am living in UAE and my Visa Office is CHC London. I am not bothered whether they have not issued me a response, But My problem is I am going back to Pakistan and would not be able to deal my case from UAE. How can I tell them to transfer my case to CHC Islamabad, as i have not received any response and do not have any file number Yet. The Other thing at the moment If I with Draw my application, Then how i will re-Collect my 1100 CA$ DD from UAE. OR is it possible for me to Collect the Money in pakistan If someone have applied from UAE and the address mentioned in application related to UAE ?

sskhan, just like amerzd said, none of us is an immigration lawyer or consultant. we all give suggestions based on what we experience and observe. but anyway, i can't seem to find your question? what was it? i will surely respond if i know of an answer.

lynx_eyed, i really dont think you should end up withdrawing your application. where there's a will there's a way. so i am sure there will be some solution regarding your problem. without a file number, this looks impossible to communicate with CIO. technically speaking, if you are no more living in UAE at the time of response from CIO, then you will not be eligible to submit full application to CHC London. instead of my limited knowledge about such problems, a few suggestions that come to my mind are;
1. wait for the response from CIO. in case of positive response, they will give you 120 days to submit your full application to CHC London. at that time you will also be in possession of a file number and you will have a choice to send an email or fax to CHC London and inform them of the scenario that you are no more living in UAE, are back to home country, and would like to submit the full application to CHC Islamabad. they should advise you.
2. communicate with CIO (after receiving their response) and ask them to transfer your file to CHC Islamabad instead of CHC London. though i am not sure if they entertain such a request or not because never heard of anyone on this forum doing so.
3. dont even wait for response from CIO and send an updated form choosing CHC Islamabad as your visa office and with a cover letter explaining the situation that you are leaving UAE and would like them to transfer your file to CHC Islamabad in case of a positive assessment. but again, the problem is that you won't have a file number and this is most likely they will not be able to match your form with the previous application forms you sent.
let other members reply you with more appropriate suggestions.

Yeah very good Points Ja77.I appreciate it. thats what i was thinking, In case I get any response and File Number from CIO i would be able to send an email or letter explaining my situation them, But If i dont get any response ,what will be the situation of application status then, coz as per the rule iin UAE, anyone cancel their Visa will have 30 days from the date of cancellation to Leave the country. now i have 30 days more here, If i get the File no, then It,s Ok, IF i donT. Then ALLAH knows.. what will be the outcome ? and how will i Collect my Money from UAE. it is a very strange situation for me. The Only issue in my mind is someone needs to give me an advice How to Transfer my case to CHC Islamabad in my case.

Hi Ja77, I am also of the openion you have thrown to lynx_eyed. Maybe this point (i'm going to open to you) may click some good idea in your minds. "If anyone had applied for PR and before one gets file number applies for withdrawl of application alongwith fee by just writing CIU/CHC a request letter. Shall he attached photocopies of the application as a reference?" If answer is in "yes" then lynx_eyed can do the same but will ask to change correspondance address only..... does it work?

if you are in possession of a file number, then you can communicate with them no matter you are in Pakistan or UAE. so no worries there. and just like i said, you will not end up withdrawing the file i am sure. so dont stress yourself too much about how you will get your money back. unless you fear a rejection, which you shouldn't, because you have a darn favorite NOC i.e. 4131 in your application. so keep your spirits high . now it's your turn to pray for me because i am receiving my IELTS results tomorrow. let's see how it goes for me.

thanks for the well wishes, amerzd i'll post my IELTS result on the forum tomorrow. and lynx_eyed, i believe amerzd has a strong point here. you can do the same and try communicating with CIO the same way amerzd explains. the only difference is that you will not be communicating to withdraw your case, but only to update your visa office. if this doesnt work for you and one day after receiving a response from CIO you come to know that CIO has transferred your file to CHC london, your next point of contact should be CHC london at that time. good luck buddy and keep posting here to let us know of your status.
