hello all,

is it ABSOLUTELY necessary to send the degrees and transcripts in "university sealed envelopes" to CHC ISB?? seems a lot of hassle as i have done B.S from Hamdard karachi and now I am in lahore. Is there a way around??

No its not mandatory. I send all my origianl degrees and diplomas in normal envelope and they have accepted and approved my case. Originals are returned back to me.

calculating points for education

i have done

1- bcom - 2years from Pakistan
2- diploma - 1year from London
3- Masters - 1.5 years from London

in total 16.5 years
how many points i will get and how they (cic) calculate the no. of years of a particular qualification if its not mention in the degree?

I have really a Long term planning , when initiated this thread. The most important thing is that we all are togather under one banner at this Forum. This way we really helped each other and behaved like a family. I just ititiated it but you guys are the pillars of this building.  First  I pray that all of our members get PR , InshaAllha and then we can at least plan  sitting togather and make a Group of PC 09 ( Pakistani Canadainas 09) Or any other that you guys recommend. For this Thread i personally nominate Amerzd or Manj to take the reasponsibility of this thread and offcource me will also a part of it. But finally the aim is to arrange a get togather in canada to keep helping each other like a family.

Please comment and finalize togather...

I salute you for your noble thoughts and for the "team spirit" that your message demonstrates. Though I have not been able to get any help to my post , but I still think that what you started is nothing less than a wonderful idea.

I join you in your prayers for the success of every one desiring to move to Canada. May ALMIGHTY not only make the whole process easy for everyone but also give all of us the much needed patience to bear with this "TEST OF PATIENCE" . And most importantly, may ALLAH create "sabab" of prosperity, success, and happiness for all who aspire to move to Canada/Australia/where ever (AMEEN to all of the above).

Your idea about forming a group so that once in Canada, we can all continue to help each other over there too; as a community of friends. I would like to emphasize on this last point too.

I also heared that immi office canada changed the way of sending acknowledgement letter on email or might be on home address instead of the address mention for corresponding address. Is It True as heared by me....... ?

which immigration office canada? CIO-NS or CHC-Islamabad? CIO-NS sends emails these days instead of sending post if you have mentioned your email address on the application. CHC-Islamabad sends all the correspondence by post or courier.

In don't see anything wrong with your proposed group name "PC09". However, open to all members to give vote or come up with good name all may agree upon.
