My time line is similar to yours, it seems we can safely assume our cases will not be finalized before 2013. :-(

In such a scenario how do they expect me to have my and my wife original docs there in London for another couple of yrs, it is assumed I will not change a job ? Any ideas how to deal with such situations, where you need original documents.

hello, in response to my mail to CHC London, i received the below reply which is very very disappointing indeed.
This is in response to your enquiry.

 ========================

Unfortunately, it will take longer to process Federal Skilled Worker applications submitted under the first set of instructions (between February 27, 2008 and June 25, 2010) than originally projected.

During this time, the department received applications for more than 425,000 people, and 144,000 of these have not yet received a decision.

This number represents more than twice the number of projected admissions under the Federal Skilled Worker program in 2011, so many of these applicants will have to wait two years or more to be processed.  Because they reflect Canada's current labour market needs, applications under the most recent set of ministerial instructions are processed on a priority basis.

Our office sends immigration decisions and information requests by post or by email to the mailing and email addresses provided in the application. Therefore, it is important that our office be notified immediately of any change of address and contact details.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

Yours sincerely,

Client Service Unit (ASV)

I dont understand why people send original educational certificates. There is no such requirement in the application form. The only original documents which are required to be submitted are IELTS and PCC.

People who send their application after june 26 will have to wait for next year some time around june 2012..as they consider application of 2009..Their requirement change and they are on the road of full fill these lobour requirement...so people relax and enjoy the waiting ride of this long journey...

Note: I talked to several immigrant agent and what i extract  from their conversation is what i write above.

Hi Everyone,

I hope everyone is doing well. I am willing to apply for the Canadian Immigration under the federal skilled class. My occupation lies in the NOC list under code 8222. I have more than 70 points as calculated. Now i want to start the immigration process, it will be kind if someone can guide me step by step procedure for the application.

I am applying from Islamabad. I need to know that for initial application do i need to send my IELTS score card. I have given IELTS 2 years back, but i came to know that IELTS is valid for one year,for immigration cases. So my question is that either i should take IELTS Test  first or start the application, and later give my IELTS Test and submitt its result. I will be glad if someone can guide me regarding the forms, and all the relevant details, and usually how long normally it takes for the immigration process.

Regards & Thanks

Dear Qorax and other respectable Memebers,A)-  After number of requests posted to CHC London for returning back of original academic documents and experience letters, CHC London returned only mine original academic documents. CHC London did not return the following documents:
1-   IELTS
2-   Police Certificate
3-   Professional Experience Letters
 I want ask from the members that why CHC London had returned the above along with my original academic documents?
B)-  Secondly before the receipt of 2AOR, my E-case status appeared like this:
"We received your application for permanent residence on April 22, 2010.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on July 19, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.
 We transferred your application to the London England office on July 28, 2010. The London England office may contact you. "

Why decision made line appeared in this as they had not sent me any reason of rejection because decision made before medical means rejection.
Is it a system error?
C)- After the receipt of 2AOR in March-2010, my E-Case again changed and appeared like this:
"We received your application for permanent residence on April 22, 2010.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on July 19, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
 Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.
 We transferred your application to the London England office on July 28, 2010. The London England office may contact you”
Dear Qorax or any other member of the forum can elaborate the situation as it will also be informative for all of us

Yes it is not a requirement
But sending originals may help in reducing the processing time, if VO is satisfied by seeing all originals and consistency in the documents, he may not go for verifications.
But it's your own choice

Please go through the below website of CHC London office for pakistani citizen at point No 6
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/E37023.pdf
6.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS
For you and your spouse or common-law partner:
•Post-secondary education documents: vocational or technical certificates or diplomas;
•College or university documents: certification of completion and the graduation degree, diploma, or certificate issued by the college or university and the evaluation committee;
Transcripts: original transcripts of all degrees must be submitted in university-sealed envelopes.
•Professional qualifications certificates: notarized professional qualifications certificates should be submitted if available. (e.g., Engineer, Computer Programmer, Accountant, Economist, Translator/Interpreter, Architect etc.).

This means you need to get these transcripts from university separatly and send these. But does not mean original degrees to be sent. I have sent docs even not getting notorised but these were checked and accepted by chc london.

1. You should write to them about this "DECISION MADE" matter if you haven't received any letter from them in a month time.

2. The following documents would be returned to you when all the checks are complete:
   PCC: they have a validity of a few months, so they are useless if returned
   IELTS: CHC considers, you can get a duplicate copy of this certificate, so they would keep it (Even though, AEO would deny providing you a second personal copy, however, they would send a duplicate copy to any organization you ask them to)
   Exp LEtters: are considered to be available on request of the employee
