Hi
I guess (may be I wrong), If we 2005 Pakistani receive 2nd AOR (document update letter ) receive after June 2011 , its good sign other wise 2005 applicant more wait one or two years for start processing. CHC London slowly slowly complete 2004 (CHC Islamabad Start 2004 applicant 2008 till continue) . Four year spent on 2004 Pakistani applicant.
Another side many consultant say's CIC have no interested in backlog cases and immigration program due to current Government policy. If you see other program family class and business class all classes are suffer due to CIC policy.
I call some old Consultant and discuss backlog cases.
SUNCONSULTANT- Blue Are- They said near near no chance and idea how much times after CHC London start 2005 cases.
ALISON'S CONSULTANT-F-8 Markaz- They said at-least one year more wait then chance CHC London start 2005 cases.
I think we 2005 applicant at least one thing clear how much time take CHC London for starting 2005 Pakistani cases.
I am not said about other applicant at lest I am personally very disturbed from this situation.
Sucesss full hona na-hona another debate ha. At least picture clear how currently we are in dark street.

hello everyone..I just need to check how much time they take after your case status turns to "In Process with story inside ECAS the same pending review" as alll documents are with them n getting no response from them is really frustrating.

Aoa all,

I submitted full documents to CHC London on February 07, 2011. However, I have not yet received 2nd AOR. I need to change my bank and transfer the money to new bank. Please advise whether I should inform CHC or remain silent till they ask me to submit fresh bank statement.

Guys i know this forum is not for this purpose, but unfortunately i need your help. I have applied for canadian immigration under category 1111 and send my full documents on september 2010. My status is RBO.

I lost my job because of this reason and other reason was my bank was purchased by different owners.

I have done CA-Inter from ICAP, BS in Accountancy form Arizona State Unviversity, USA and currently pursuing CPA and have cleared 3 levels of professional level and awaiting result for fourth level.

I have worked as an external auditor in an Audit firm for almost 2 years and worked in a bank in karachi for almost 3 years as Assistant Manager Finance.

I am without a job for almost 7 months. I badly need a job as i don't think this immigration will be done sooner. I will really appreciate if someone can help me find a suitable job.

In response to my email to CHC London responded as follows:

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your enquiry.

Unfortunately, it will take longer to process Federal Skilled Worker applications submitted under the first set of instructions (between February 27, 2008 and June 25, 2010) than originally projected.

During this time, the department received applications for more than 425,000 people, and 144,000 of these have not yet received a decision.

This number represents more than twice the number of projected admissions under the Federal Skilled Worker program in 2011, so many of these applicants will have to wait two years or more to be processed.  Because they reflect Canada's current labour market needs, applications under the most recent set of ministerial instructions are processed on a priority basis.

Our office sends immigration decisions and information requests by post or by email to the mailing and email addresses provided in the application. Therefore, it is important that our office be notified immediately of any change of address and contact details.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

Yours sincerely,

"these applicants will have to wait two years or more to be processed" the period mentioned here starts from now onwards OR from the date of application?

May we get some clarification / information/policy on this ?
Seniors are requested to shed light on the issue, please.
Best regards.

Dear Friends... Let me share with you my landing experience...

I left Dubai on 19th May morning through Emirates A 380 until Heathrow London. Food and services were excellent. Had a stop over of 3-4 hours at terminal 3. And the connecting flight from terminal 3 was AIR CANADA until Toronto. Services were nice too.

Landed at Pearson International around 09:00 pm local time. There was not much queue. First at the Passport control section, the officer checked our DECLARATION CARD (which was provided to us by AIR CANADA). And then he signed on it and instructed us to go on his right side to Immigration counter. There the lady was very kind. She asked for our CORP papers, passports and the declaration card. Asked few questions, like were we ever involved in any criminal activity or where denied entry by any country & how much money are we carrying. Then she asked for the local address , where she can send our PR cards.

With a smile , she said " CONGRATULATIONS, now you are the PERMANENT RESIDENT of Canada"   and guided us the way to reach Customs officer. There was a very small queue. And i saw customs officers mostly opening the bags, checking all the stuff. So i had prepared my mind too for the same. So when it was our turn, i gave him the GOODS ACCOMPANIED AND FOLLOW LIST. He just went through the papers and asked whether are we carrying any food stuff with us.And did not bother to check the stuff inside our bags. He asked for our passports and CORPs, and at the end gave us one printed signed paper. And guided us the way to EXIT.

So hardly in 30-40 mints we were out from Airport, finishing all landing formalities. Took a cab until Studio 6 Mississauga, the fare was 38 CAD. And next day morning, took 19 A Bus , just next to the Hotel there was a bus stop, and got down at Dundas Street, fare per person was 3 CAD and be sure that you have the change. Got down on Dundas street and took 1 C bus until Dixie road where the SERVICE CANADA office is located. Please note one thing, the ticket which you will receive is valid for 2 hours, so i used the same the ticket when i boarded bus 1 C to Dixie road. So be sure to retain the ticket until the expiry time.

In 15 mints , the SIN card documentation was over. And hopefully, will go for a bank a/c later.
I will be here in Canada for a week time. So if you guys have any questions or suggestions, please do ask or share with me.

Thanks to our dear CAPTAIN Qorax and all our senior Members of the forum who always guided me and everyone through all the phases.

Cheers..

Dear SATDXB!
Have a nice stay there. I think you are there just to make mandatory entry. Your case has similarities to mine in many ways including NOC and application timelines. Tht's why I'll bother you with more queries in future but for the time being cam you please share what size of your family (if travelling with you), and what is expected budget for one week stay you set aside for that.
Best regards.
