Dear Seniors reply please... What is the procedure for appeal, today I received a rejection letter, stating that; You have indicated that you have work experience in an occupation with the following NOC codes 0213.... Although the NOC codes corresponds to the occupations specified in the instructions, I am not satisfied that you have a minimum of one year of continuous full-time, or equivalent part-time, paid work experience in the occupation(s) in the last ten years. My question is shall I go for appeal, because I had provided them experience letters on my Company's letter head which clearly shows my JDs and job title and two years experience.
Disappointed and broke. Please help.
Many thanks in advance.
My question is why VO is not satisfied that I do not have minimum of one year experience, despite of showing experience letter, promotion letter etc.

Many thanks for your support, shall I go on my own for appeal or by some consultants and if I go on my own then I can only write the Reconsideration Letter otherwise for appeal I will have to hire some Solicitor which is not feasible for me. I Shall highly grateful if someone has experience on this and guide me.

Well...I would not hire a consultant for sure....go for a reconsideration letter as you need to react quickly. You can go through some other threads where others have shared what they have written...and you can work on the same grounds (not copy pate of course). Share your draft here if you like in order to get feedback from everyone here.... Make sure your letter sounds like a reconsideration letter not a "bullying" or I'm right and you are wrong" kind of letter....be nice and request them proving your point that they should reconsider your case...as you have mentioned....ur JD is fine.....they have doubts on your experience....quote the letter you sent earlier and how it clearly mentions that you have more than 2 years experience.. Start drafting....don't waste time !!! Best of Luck !!!

May Allah give you jaza for this, your are very compassionate and helpful. As far as I understand, they don't have any objection in my JDs, IELTS or points, they are not satisfied with my experience. Shall I also get the updated letter from my employer. Once again thanks for your help and motivation.

No harm in getting updated letter...the more proof the better....Also, just try to evaluate why could they have objected....is their anything in your letter you provided that might have given that kind of a signal?? It's always good to check your documents "critically" again... We are all here for each others support....so don't worry for that !!!

Well brother there is nothing with your experience letters, infact the real reason is your NOC ,as Canada has already got admitted more than required immigrants under yours (and some others such as 4131) NOCs so they are just rejecting the applications in a blow. But if you want to write a letter of reconsideration try to present something conclusive so that it could convince the VO . I think few weeks back I read experience of an applicant "rizwan 72" who wrote a letter of reconsideration so try to follow his posts. All the best!

No problem at all,you are always welcome brother, as already mentioned by another brother at the same thread , the quota has been reached so the new (or may be revised ) list will be available around July 1st or so. I m posting a link below ,where you can find that old list which was posted at the same forum.
[web link for eligible occupations and caps filled]
Regarding your mentioned NOCs mentioned in your post, unfortunately none of them is included in the old list ( do hope and pray that any one of them could be included in the new one)
Well if you qualify for applying ,and will be able to apply till Feb 2013, you will have to keep an eye on the quota limit for your NOC as only 500 applications/per NOC are allowed from all over the world now ,which usually fills up very quickly .
Regarding your MBA , yes you can mention it in your initial application to CIC , but you need to understand that fact that CIC will consider your MBA degree and award you points for that ONLY if your degree transcripts reach CIC before/at the point evaluation stage for your application. If you think you MUST have your masters degree points in order to reach mark of 67 points then I think you should wait for the completion of your MBA, as CIC does NOT grant ANY points for incomplete degrees, diplomas etc.
Hope it helps!
you're right , there ain't such NOC mentioned in the eligible code list which you shared, Not a single among them is closest to my nominal work role, It really isn't a good news for me bro Keeping an eye on NOC cap is the second step, first step is to have an appropriate NOC Though i don't think that the upcoming NOC list would be much welcoming for me, since i don't think so that there would be any noticeable amendments , alterations, additions in that, but one should keep up the High hopes , lets see what is kept for us in the coming days

Many thanks for your precious time, but I think NOC is not an issue, please look at their response below; You have indicated that you have work experience in an occupation with the following NOC codes 0213.... Although the NOC codes corresponds to the occupations specified in the instructions, I am not satisfied that you have a minimum of one year of continuous full-time, or equivalent part-time, paid work experience in the occupation(s) in the last ten years. They don't have objection on NOC, instead they are not satisfied with my experience letter, I don't know why.

Processing times are useless in current scenario as they do not reflect the current processing trends.
