Dear adanibaba, I do not agree with your analysis. LVO is not at all biased, in fact they are very helpful to all candidates without considering their religion or nationality or colour. One incident will give you the inside of their work-style.

One of my Pakistani friends had applied under 0213 NOC in April 2010 thru CIO NS and then he moved to other country. He didn't look at his file curiously and didn't hear from CIO or London VO at all for next 9 months. In June 2011, he got an email from CIO that his fee would be refund as he didn't submit his entire set of docs to LVO in allotted 120 days. I remember, when he got his fee back he was very much upset and he contacted many of Canadian solicitors for legal help. All of them informed him that file is CLOSED and it can't be opened again. Only one lawyer had asked him that he will charge CAD$6,000 to pursue his case to Federal Court. This was too much amount & my friend lost hope. His last sentence was that, “Allah had written down like that fate for me and I am going to accept it.”

I advised him to escalate this to LVO Program Manager and request them to reconsider his case. After exchange of few emails, even with First Secretary at LVO....., he realized that nothing will happen. When he finally wrote to London Program Manager, one fine evening after 6 months of getting fee refund, in Jan 2012 LVO has reopened his closed file.

This true incident will tell you that LVO staff is not at all biased towards Pakistanis or Muslims or their situation. They look at your docs professionally and that's all!

In Feb 2012, I received letter from London High Commission-Canada to send updated Forms and police Certificates. Now at this stage can anyone please tell me what to do regarding background declaration?
Should I mention about my Refugee Claim and refusal?
In case I mention and in case I don't mention what would happened.
My family is in Pakistan and I am doing job as Head of Finance on refugee work visa in Australia.
I am stuck up in very tough situation
Can anyone have knowledge and guide me regarding this situation?
I would be highly thankful.

Just a suggestion, if u can, can u rearrange the list, as per NOC....e.g

Don't know it can be answered by CAIPS only... I dont think anyone who got these letters ordered CAIPS yet...

I have also recieved my CAPS notes yesterday, my PSDEC is 1 (passed) and SELDEC is 4 (means interview waived) with the date 13-03-2012 and following is the scored point (75)

Adaptability        09   (5 for Relative in Canada and 4 for Spouse Education)

Dear Rehan, in my view you should inform LVO because anyway you are there in Australia for more than 6 months (legally on refugee work permit) and you have to arrange PCC from there too! In this situation, LVO will ask your details such as status of your appeal, duration of stay etc. There are less chances that it will impact your Canadian PR application as your appeal is still pending.

For instance, if you are not informing them about your stay in Australia, they will come to know after reviewing your passport once reach them for Canada visa stamping as I understand that they are asking you for updated docs. This means that your case is coming to conclusion and I hope positively. Hiding a factual info pertains to your status is not correct at all.

Dear Seniors,

I have applied in Nov, 2009 and send full documents in April, 2010. under 0111.
My case was in process with no address in Feb 2012, after which it started showing address again with line "Your application was reviewed and we started processing on February 1, 2012. "

I also receieved letter in Feb 2012 from London VO to submit updated,
IMM008/ IMM5406/ IMM5562 /IMM5669/ New Police Certificates/ Landing Fees/ 2 new photographs/ letters from job, pay slips etc.

I have submitted all above. Can any one suggest how long I need to wait after this? Can any one been through this stage and tell me how long he has waited or how long he's waiting.

Whats the next stage? Medical???

Would you like to share that how did you go to Australia and now you are claiming Asylam as Refugee of which country?
