Moral of the story is that if someone feels that his application may contain any of thiese problems, then he better send a clarification note or additional supporting docs to VO now, before it is too late

They have highlighted the news of such a policy in the offing on the CIC website last year in June which i had read.  They want to stump out the case (may be on reason) but Canada and Australia are worried about those immigrants who are not working in their disciplines despite getting the immigration; hence the shortage of skilled workers in the proposed disciplines remains the same despite a huge immigration.  So to avoid losses, they have introduced such a policy to reduce the aspirants.  I believe the Canadians will also introduce another policy, stating if any immigrant has not worked in his/her work field within the 3 years; he/she would not be given a Canadian passport for which usually the applicants has to live out of canada for 60 days after the immigration. Australians are introducing a policy for students.  Give work permit of two years (graduates) and five years for post graduate after the studies and for extension of visa; check the record of the proposed discipline and extend it if approved and for PR, check discipline and record.  This will cast five to seven years for any student to get PR in australia.

Super visa

The Canadian has introduced this super visa (equal to 10 years multiple visa) for those who want to immigrate on the sponsorship of blood relations.  Earlier, such sponsors were granted immigration but now they would issue a Super Visa if some one`s sponsorship meets the criteria.  Super Visa also includes; the proposed person will finance his/her own medical and insurance plans;unlike the immigrants and citizens.
Look how much they are concerned with the new comers...

I have just checked my status online against my immigration file number, the very strange thing is that status is changed to "Withdrawn" and when i clink on this hyperlink and the details mentioned in it are as under:

"We received your application for permanent residence on June 8, 2010.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on October 20, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review."

I filed my case in May 2010, first AOR was received in Oct 2010 to send my detailed docs to London visa Office in 120 days, I sent those docs in Jan and were received, I also a received letter from London Visa office on 5th July 2011 that they have received my file etc and they are evaluating it etc.

Now the worse has happend that I have received a letter from London Visa Office (last week) stating that they have not received my documents to date which I was supposed to send in 120 days (which is not the case, i have sent them back in Jan 2011 or so). So failing to do this seeing your current application we do not see it valid enough to pursue your case. so we are closing it bla bla...

HELP PLEASE IF SOMEONE HAS THE SIMILAR EXPERIENCE, what should be done now, even the online status shows that they received my docs.

P.S. In first week of April i sent them a letter asking for update in my case through courier, (but meanwhile i received this letter). Now i am thinking of writing them email with attachments of all letters i have received etc.

Hi moonisbilal,
I have same time line as yours, it is very sad that they have sent you this letter. This is obviously a mistake on their part. You should write them a letter at the earliest and explain your situation, with your letter attach copies of all the letters you have received from them. They would hopefully realize their mistake and correct it.

If you have received an acknowledgement from London, then no need to worry at all. You can simply attach scan copy of letter with email and explain them the situation in it. If they are on fault, they will definitely going to look into this.

AOA,

Today I recieved an email asking for proof of funds. I already submitted property valuation but it seems they do not accept it as they have clearly stated in the email that they property valuation is not acepted. They have asked me to send detailed letter from my bank or accountant showing all my assets and liabilities or bank statements in 30 days. Currently I donot have enough cash in my bank account but it can be arranged so kindly advise how should I proceed.

What did chc mention in the letter, I think at this final stage statement is better for the last 3/6 months

Do we have any thread here explaining the medical tests in setails and the care we should take before the medicals ?

Dear Khalid h,
I did medicals with family recently, We went inside the office of the doctor where the receptionist asked for the medical forms we recieved from VO, he then asked us to wait in the reception after about twenty mins they called for original and two photcopies each of passport 1-4 pages and CNIC, five pictures with name and date of birth written on the back, he also asked to sign the medical forms including consent and statements and then we were agian asked to wait. After about ten mins the guy took us to doctors exam room where the doctor examined physically like any nodules or swelling or pain in any part of the body, general physical movements of the limbs, Blood pressure, eyes, ears and mouth, throat, eye sight, height and weight, while examining the doctor keeps on talking to evaluate general behaviour of the person he asked about the profession and my future plans. The doctor also asked about any operations, severe disease, fracture of any bone or any medications on a permanent basis. they also had a female doctor for females. After that we were guided towards the lab in the same premisis, where we were given containers for the urine samples ( From adults+children), after that they collected blood samples (from adults only). we were then guided again to the reception where we paid the charges and the receptionist handed us over the x ray forms and asked us to go to another clinic in shadman for xray, we went to the other clinic and presented the xary forms to the receptionist she again asked for original passports and after seeing them she booked our tokens and asked for the charges and asked to wait in the waiting area. after about fifteen mins the guy shouted our names for x ray. we went turn by turn for xray in the xary room. the guy asked me to remove my shirt and asked for any history of cough and TB and smoking he then took the digital xray and asked me to wait in the room and he went for the confirmation of the digital xray image he then came back and told me that its ok and i can put on my shirt back. they have female staff for females as well. they take xray chest for each person of the family who is above twelve years of age. It has been a very smooth and comfortable experience and we were treated professionally.
TIP: Drink at least eight glasses of water daily starting three days before your appointment which definately will reduce any chances of detecting any toxins, sleep well and try to keep yourself calm so that they may not find any behaviour disturbance. and trust in God
1. Urine exam is for Creatinine, urea, protiens, puss cells, and sugar and any other abnormality
2. Blood exam is for AIDS, VDRL (a screening test for syphilis see http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/003515.htm), TB, Hepatitis A,B and other disease.
3. X Ray Chest is mainly for TB, cardiac enlargement or any other abnormaility in Lungs like fibrosis which may be due to TB, heavy smoking and old severe Pneumonia.

It is better to take all your medical reports and eye glasses, if any, to the doctor so that he will be able to give clear judgement of the case otherwise if he suspects any thing he may entangle you in further tests and evaluations which may delay your medical process.
Above all medical exam is just only for the contageous diseases and for the persons with end organ disability like renal failure or is a danger to public health or safety; or would cause excessive demand on health or social services in Canada.
