Verification after medicals  now thats a new turn  ... what they guys are up to.... I heard they verify only from the person who signed your experience letter i.e. your immediate boss in most of the cases or the person at HR.... Now if they are calling receptionists and disclosing that it's a verification call from embassy.. this would easily reveal your future plans amongst the people in your company with whom you do not want to share your plans.... as it reflects you are not interested in staying associated with current company and U are looking for alternates.... this could affect your future promotions etc.. as well.... strange but have to live with their processes... paa ji have faced the above highlighted situation and sacrificed my 2 promotions and one time bonus/increments because my bosses are also thinking the same way about my future plans as i am thinking. they are on this point of view that " es nay to bas few months main chelay jana hay choor kar" and the great CHC always short term lolly pop dayti rahi hay from the last 3 years. |

ya thats the point I am trying to make, I know some big org where HR marks such employee and definitely it affects his growth.... You can convince one person that u are taking just a chance to go Canada for better future but can't make whole organization understand your point..... Remember, the consistent thing in corporate world is inconsistency...... so bosses react accordingly |

Dear All,
My office received a verification call it not known from where as our office CLI is not working.
They just asked they want to talk to Mr. ........ A foreign National accent (Gora)
then the my office person replied that he is on leave and out of town, and gave him my cell number
Then He verification guy said thank you we will call him later.
did any one else received a verification call?
Job verification after MR? Don't make any sense. What if VO is not satified with the verification? Is he going to reject the case after an applicant has gone through MR and RPRF fee. Absolute non-sense. What if some low level employee picks up the phone and does not answer properly. It can be very negative and could result in rejection. It is logical if case is refused due to job verification in the start OR middle of processing but definetly not after MR and RPRF fee submission |

Remember, the consistent thing in corporate world is inconsistency...... so bosses react accordingly Man.. my nephew who applied with my timeline in January 2009, did 2 medicals in 2010 and 2011, both Meds are expired and he is waiting for third has compromised his superb job in Pakistan Petroleum just because of this issue! Before his 1st medical in late 2009, they inquired about him in his organization n he faced such issues, in the end he had to left the job and joined another petroleum company. |

AA.
I am here after a long time. Just want to share outcome of my application. My application is rejected, Last month i received letter from High Commission in London, they stated that your application can not be processed further. They wrote that your duties do not matches with Industrial Electrical, so you are not an industrial electrician (7242). They also wrote that my application fee is refundable and i will receive cheque in 8 weeks.
One of my friend applied after 6 months i applied, he received same letter and his application is also rejected.

Correct, They must be insane if they do verification by anyone in the company, especially in big companies
I second u.... There are more than 5000 permanent employees in my company....if they call to verify....it would take them atleast, 3-4 mins to get the right person in HR, and if HR manager is on seat, it would take another 3-4 mins to search my file and open...and then the verification will start.. And if they call the reception only, I might not be verified. |

Just want to share that i have got rejection letter from CHC - London , few days back .
I applied in Apr 2010 in 0213 category , got initial approval from Sydney - Nova scotia in Jun 2010 , sent all supporting doc to CHC - London in Oct 2010 , got file numb in Mar 2011 and in Apr - 2012 - letter from CHC - London ( after i sent a query via email on my application )
I believe the decision is just taken to get rid off applicants but it has left with alot of damage on hopes and future plans ... dont knw what to do next !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We all know and feel sorry for those who got refusals, the time and hope they lost, cannot be compensated by any mean.... Anyways keep your faith in God there must be something better waiting for you... I heard upcoming Immig. policy is also better and there are other options as student/PNP etc. Try your luck there, if u like.... |
