can any one tell me before recieving MR e-cas always change into in process if sumone's e-cas is RBVO that means that person will not recieve MR untill his or her e-cas change into in process?

why you want to open CAD$ account?
Hi Cheeta ! How r u ! Actually the query was raised few posts ago by another member. And I was surprized when Mr. Nizami showed some hope on that. Look if it is possible (by any way) to open a CAD $, I think it is better to hedge against the devalution of our currency against CAD$ for keeping funds for landing purposes. See the historical trends of currency fluctuation. The PKR to CAD parity was 79/$ in 2009-10 when I first sent the papers. Now-a-days it is around 92/$. It is raise of around 15% (in a couple of years). Though there can be other suggestions to keep funds in any other investment / profit earning account and the resultant profit can off set this currency fluction loss, BUT you never know the future fluctuation may be more quick, as it appears to, cause CAD$ has now even surpassed the USD as well. Anyways, your comments will help the members further in this regard. Best regards, imhussain |

PEBC ASKING FOR PHARMACIST document Evaluation Fees through Credit Card and have returned Bank Draft, and PEBC also have announced on its website that PEBC is facing difficulty in processing Bank Draft.
After getting my Visas,I have applied for Document Evaluation to PEBC, for my Pharmacy Degree, with payment of 530 CAD$ BY Bank Draft, but now through Email PEBC,has informed me that they are unable to process Bank Draft, AND HAVE RETURNED BANK DRAFT,so they have asked for submission of my document Evaluation Fees ON LINE through Credit Card, while at present I do not have any credit card and I don't expect that I will be able to gain any credit card before the deadline of Submission of Fees as last date for submission of Fees is 05-04-2012,I am a resident of Pakistan (Karachi), More over no source like Money Gram or Western union send out money in such way as asked by PEBC, THEY TRANSFER MONEY FROM PERSON TO PERSON and NOT to any institution like PEBC, If any one have any experience and knowledge, then please guide me for submission of Fees.

Did ur address disappear at the time when actuall "In Process" line with date appeared in ur status? My status is "In Process with RVBO details since Feb-2011 and I was wondering if my address should disappear before actuall "In Process" line with date is added to my e-cas status? I m waiting since ages !!!!!! If someone could come up with a reply please?  |

Saqib Try KASB Bank or HBL, they might open an account in CAD$ there are only few banks that deal in CAD$ because of low turnover in CAD$.
Not possible dear as per the state bank of Pakistan policy for banks Commercial banks are not allowed to open an account in any other currency except three major currencies i.e are (USD / EURO / GBP) |

Plz advice i have sent a mail to UK London CIC office case specific enquiry. What they ment by saying" mail was sent on 14 February 2012 to the mailing address on file." Because we have not received any email or post mail from UK except this reply of today?

Dear all,
Many thanks to Allah, I just received my PPR1 after 3 months of medicals. I sincerely thank you for the help received on this forum. You guys are just great!
I have a couple of questions regarding PPR1:
1. For passport copy, which of these pages' copy should I send:
a) bio data page
b) page adjacent to bio data - one with Ministry of Interior statment
c) signature page
2. For updated photo request, should I use the photos taken for medical or should I get updated ones?

If you ask for economical then TCS but it would be very slow I tell you and less reliable. If you ask for more reliable and fast service then DHL. Thanks |

My time line :
Initial App to CIC (Sydney): 4 July 2009
Documents Sent : 29 December,2009
In process: August 2011
After the status changed to "In process" last year, it DID NOT mention "we started processing your case on ---- date" yet. Instead this is stated there:
"We received your application for permanent residence on July 9, 2009.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on September 4, 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.
We transferred your application to the London England office on September 9, 2009. The London England office may contact you.
We transferred your application to the London England office on June 30, 2010. The London England office may contact you."
Kindly suggest if something to do or simply wait any more..... Thanks

dear cocknbull n blessings, TCS is not so slow. its almost same like DHL, as they have agreement with DHL and handover shipment to DHL in dubai. one can track shipment both on DHL & TCS web. So I recomend TCS or otherwise use FedEx. One point to note: most of Dr (DMP) use TCS to send medical reports. Regards |
