I have done four years of Bachelors and one year of Masters. I am entitled to 25 points or 22 points?

I have a question and need your comments on that. My name is Ahmed Faraz

Its full name. No Surname or Father name is included in my name.

In My passport the information is as under

Surname : Faraz
Given name : Ahmed

Will it be a problem because in my application have mentioned it as

Family name : BLANK

Given Name(s) : Ahmed Faraz

I have sent my initial application to Sydney, NS. If it is a problem can i change it in the next stage ?

u should have written like that :

Given Name : Faraz
Family Name : Ahmed

In the next stage when they ask u to submit full application again,try to write like that,as far as police ceritifcate is concerned ,u have to go to New Town Police Station(located near Aga Khan) and have to fill a form ,also keep some passport size photogrpahs,u need to submit that form to New Town Police Station and then they will issue with PCC after some days,try to work for it from the next day as these things take some time

Dear  Senior Paksitani Fellows

Police Certificate / Criminal Record Check Difference

1- What's the difference between above two terms?

2- In past, I had lived in BC. Canada in year 2001 to 2003 on the student visa and then returned back Pakistan and never went back to Canada after that.   I have no over stay and no criminal records and never given my finger prints to local RCMP (Vancouver/ Surrey) at that time.   I have my BC. Identity card and learner's driver license, which are both, expired now.    Now how they gona check my criminal record if no finger prints available for me?

3-Is it must to have Canadian police certificate if some one lived & studied in Canada and then returned back to his own country.  If I want to apply the visit visa of Canada and to file AEO immigration application then does Canadian Embassy in Pakistan arranges the Canadian Polices Certificate at his own or I have to arrange it?

I want to know this in advance to avoid the delay in processing of my visit visa application and AEO application.

Hi guys,

Alhamdulillah yesterday (25 Aug 09, five minutes before Roza Iftar) I received my PPR and RPRF request through email after clearing my medicals. They have asked me to provide 3-6 months bank statement as well.

I am thankful to all of you guys who encouraged me all the time and sent best wishes for me and my family success. Again a humble request from all brothers and sisters to pray for me and my family.

My best wishes to all my friends who are waiting for positive response and next process. Inshallah you will get good news soon.

In police clearance certificate they (police) verifies if there is anything against you after checking their criminal records. In pakistan we have to provide Police Clearance Certificate.

2- In past, I had lived in BC. They still have your ID/ name ETC so they can dig into their database.

anywhere u stayed more then six months require Police Clearance certificate
Wait for seniors to answer ur queries in details.
