sskhan, i have just emailed you the sample forms. please check your email.

i had received these forms from amerzd, and this credit goes to him, as he is always helpful to all of us, and i used these forms with my final application
Thanks azfar. Got the forms.

The "CNIC-EngTrans-Sample format" is interesting as this is totally new for new. Before receiving your email, I thought that I just have to get both sides of NIC photocopies on the same page and then get it notarized. Do the notary people in the court area also have forms and offer services for the translation of our NIC? Meaning I simply have to give them my NIC and they will do the rest of do I also have to provide photographs???

SSKhan, i think you are worrying too much for no reason Smiley. which city are you from? if you are from Islamabad, you can go to Aabpara or F-8 kachehri. lot of notary public and translators sitting there. you can even negotiate for the price if you have more than one documents to be translated. and they usually have their own format with them. if you are from some other city, then no issues there as well, as you can find notary public and translators in almost every city. good luck buddy. tell me how is your IELTS preparation going on? have you registered for a specific date?

Hi ja77,

I think you posted your comments under the wrong thread. This thread is (if I may say so) dedicated to Asim (who is leaving tonight)...

Anyway, yes I know I am worrying too much but can't help it Smiley I'm from LHR and have registered for IELTS in Sep. Don;t ask me about the preparation. The prep. material from British Council was easy but when I looked at 2 other books I just gave up the idea of preparing.

Just logged in to post a quick last message before I leave. The next time I log in, I will be gone from Pakistan. I will pray for you all during Umra. Before I leave, I would like to share this beautiful poetry with you all. The purpose is to boost the moral of those still waiting.

meri jaan aaj ka gham na kar
na janay kaatib-e-wakt nai
kisi apnay kal mein bhi bhool kar
kaheen likh rakhi hon musarratain
yeh jo zindagani ka khel hai
gham-o-inbasat ka mail hai
usay qadar kia ho bahaar ki
jis nai dekhi kabi khizaan nahi

Come on SSKhan, there is no difficulty in preparation. You probably got the wrong books. They sell fancy books with volumes and volumes of it.

My suggestion - Buy one single volume yellow colored book (just like telephone directory in size and shape). It is standard single volume and available at all book shops, even at old book shops. I am sorry, I am forgetting its name. It has a pirated copy of a CD also in it to match with exercise pages in the book. Book is of rough page material and may cost you between 250-450 Rs (depending where you buy it from). Must prepare yourself. IELTS is not difficult at all.

Wish you best of luck,

Manj

Dear Spinoza Khan,

IELTS is valid for a certain period, and one taken in 2004 is certain no more valid. The requirement to appear in a new one can not be over ruled.

To prove relationship with your uncle (paternal/maternal), you need the following:

1. Your father-mother Nikah nama copy and its English translation - notarized
2. Your uncle's Nikah nama copy and its English translation - notarized
3. Birth Certificates of both parties (uncle and father/mother) - notarized copies
4. Your uncle's Canadian PR card/Passport copy
5. Your uncles Social Security card copy

I hope it would resolve relationship problem.

Best regards,

Manj

spinoza khan,

the documents mentioned by Manj are absolutely fine to prove the relationship. i would only like to add that in addition to proving the relationship, you also have to prove that your uncle is currently residing in canada. for that purpose, you will documents like your uncle's bank statement or credit card statement for the last few months proving spending in canada, your uncle's salary slips or tax returns for his canadian job, or his utility bills for the last few months.

hope this helps.
