As I am living in Karachi I got my Nikhnama translated from translators sitting very near to foreign office. Foreign Office in Karachi is just next to FTC building.

We submitted original nikhnama, photocopy of NIC and original translated Nikhnama with 25 rupees revenue stamp on it to foreign office. They took our documents and given us a receipt. On very next day on showing them the receipt they have returned us back our attested english nikhnama along with other documents.

The "CNIC-EngTrans-Sample format" is interesting as this is totally new for new. Before receiving your email, I thought that I just have to get both sides of NIC photocopies on the same page and then get it notarized. Do the notary people in the court area also have forms and offer services for the translation of our NIC? Meaning I simply have to give them my NIC and they will do the rest of do I also have to provide photographs???

Dear all,

This is my first post in this thread for Pakistani applicants. I need your prayers because I am leaving Pakistan with my wife tonight. The initial plan was to directly fly to Canada from Pakistan. But now I am flying to Saudi Arabia for doing Umra and spend a few days in Makkah and Madina Shareef to thank Allah for his blessings on such an ordinary and sinful person like me. And then I will fly to Canada (Charlottetown) from Saudi Arabia on 30th August. I fully realize that I have not been regular on the forum, but as you can see, I have been busy like hell in doing different necessary arrangements which involved bookings for not only from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia but from Saudi Arabia to Canada also. The Umra Visa also involved a lot of effort and time, especially when the Holy Month of Ramadan was only a few days away. I am sorry to all those who have been posting different questions for me and I never got back. I am sharing my email id here and I hope to stay in touch in the future. If you have any questions or just want to catch up, please email me. I won't have a regular access to internet during my stay in Saudi Arabia but I will try my best to reply to emails when I have a chance. Also, I will post my landing experience in Canada once done .
