Dear Amerzd, shanbaba, and azfar,

Thank you for your replies about kids birth certificates. When the time comes, I'll just go with the hospital birthday certificates, B-forms translated and notarized in English, and ofcourse the passport itself.

Going to any govt. office is like a nightmare and therefore I will skip the municipal committe office part unless it's absolutely necessary.

I will appreciate if guidance may be provided on following:
1. My application was received on 8th June 09 by CHC Isb but my status is still" Received by Visa Office" kindly let me know til how long this status is maintained & what is done by CHC during this time.
Now a days CHC is taking more time but in our case they took only 40 days. they will verify your employer educational degrees etc
2. My sister has shifted from Toronto to Mississauga do i have to intimate to CHC about the change of address.
If you have claimed point for your sister then i think its good idea to inform CHC. Lets seniors comment on this.

Dear Amidala,

I say this with surety after confirming from CHC Islamabad that:

1. You may NOT send your transcripts in sealed envelopes. The reason of this is that every country has its own culture and practices, and our degrees and transcripts were issued some times back. Our universities (e.g. Punjab University etc), normally do not give transcripts in sealed envelope (except few leading universities like LUMS etc.) CHC Islamabad accepts original transcripts even if these are NOT in sealed envelope. The requirement is for ORIGINAL TRANSCRIPT ONLY and not the original degrees.

2. You may send the original degrees or notorized copies thereof.  The requirement does not say that you must send original degrees, as such, it is perfectly alright if you get its photocopy notorized and send in lieu of original.

Q: can you or anyone confirm me this: I know for a fact that CHC Isl requires original transcripts in uni sealed envelopes, however no such indication is found for the degrees and certificates, do we send original degrees too?

Ans: I sent only non-attested copies except the final year DMC which was a duplicate from the university, in their sealed envelope. The CHC ISB didnt object on it and i got provisional acceptance with it.

you are saying I should get a duplicate of my degree and transcipts to send? I am concerned about the safety of my original docs.

ali786leo.......... Actually i applied before 28th, November and aplied under both NOC's. These both (0631-0632) are hospitality industry occupations. I am eligible to apply for both of 2  NOC'S equally.

an application can be filed in full confidence without having a doctoral degree for NOC 4121. this is supported by the advice from leading consultants. besides, CIO NS has had no objection on such an application either.

nobody intends to misguide here, I guess ppl on this forum are this much responsible and sincere.

I  HAVE DONE TWO BACHELOR DEGREES B.A AND THEN B.ED SEPARATELY.THEN I DID FIRST MASTERS IN INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS IN TWO YEARS TIME AND AFTER THAT I DID MASTERS IN  TEACHER EDUCATION IN TWO YEARS TIME FROM ALLAMA IQBAL OPEN UNIVERSITY IN ADDITION I HAVE DONE CERTIFICATE IN TEACHING(9 MONTHS).KINDLY ADVISE ME FURTHER THAT WHAT IS MY POINT STANDING IN EDUCATION FACTOR.THANKS

what about those people who have done bachelor or master in computer science and doing job of accountant even they cannot apply as well?

You can not apply as a University Professor if you don't have Doctor's Degree.

Please don't misguide to other members if you don't have appropriate knowledge.
