Ielts can be improved any time however remember to send a cover letter along it requesting to consider new ielts... However if you are going to improve your ielts I suggest you send the ielts in the time they gave you to send documents for blood relation since they will be calculating your points at the end of this time period. If you fail to achieve required 67 points mark.they will simply reject your application..

Kindly See below a letter received by CHC London to an applicant which clearly indicates that any change in an applicant circumstances must be reported. You can report it by e-mail as well as you does't get any confirmation of receipt of your letters by CHC.
Dear Sir/Madam,
This is in response to your enquiry
For Federal Skilled Worker applicants who applied before February 27, 2008. We have received enough Federal Skilled Worker applications since February 27, 2008 to reach our immigration levels for the next two years. Because they reflect Canada's current labour market needs, applications under the most recent set of ministerial instructions are processed on a priority basis. Therefore, few Federal Skilled Worker applications received before February 27, 2008 will be processed this year or next.
The exception is the small number of cases where federal skilled worker applicants have already received instructions to undergo their medical examinations. These applicants should receive a final decision within 12 months of completing their medical examination.
The Action Plan for Faster Immigration has helped reduce application backlogs and wait times. Before the Action Plan was introduced, Canada had a backlog of over 640,000 people in the federal skilled worker category waiting as long as six years to be processed. In just three years, we've been able to get more than 300,000 people out of the lineup - that's close to half those who were waiting.
When a Federal Skilled Worker application is due for assessment, our office will send a letter asking the applicant to submit updated information in support of the application. This new information will be reviewed by an immigration officer who will determine if you meet the requirements for immigration. Please wait until you receive this letter before providing any new information relating to changes in your personal circumstances, additional dependents, new employment, education or new identity documents.
Our office sends immigration decisions and information requests by post or by email to the mailing and email addresses provided in the application. Therefore, it is important that our office be notified immediately of any change of address and contact details.
We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum. Yours sincerely,
Client Service Unit
Immigration and Medical Services Division | Direction de l'immigration et des services médicaux Canadian High Commission | Haut-commissariat du Canada 38 Grosvenor Street London, W1K 4AA | Londres, W1K 4AA United Kingdom | Royaume-Uni "
This CHC instruction for updating applicant information for those who had applied before 27th Feb 2008. In my case, I had applied under ministerial instruction (M2) before June 26th 2010. Thanks.

Dear Somey
1. For change in job / residence status, inform CHC immediately with the copy of appointment letter (notarized) alongwith explanation letter and your new address for communication. Hope you have not change your profession (immigration category).
2. Below is the detail of documents or actions that you need to take in order to comply fully with CHC requirements for new born;
1. NEW BORN Birth certificates (hospital and ministry of health). No need of notarization. Only copies can serve the purpose. 2. Passport of new born (and visa page if residing outside homeland) 3. Five photographs as per specification, 4. Additional family information forms (update) and signed in original 5. Demand draft of CAD 150/- (in the name of RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA) 6. Information on height of new born at the time of sending forms

Dear Fellows, I have received my visa and now I am planning to leave to Calgary.While booking my flight to Calgary I came across with following problem . My destination is Calgary but flight 1st land in Montreal. So the immigration will occur in Montreal instead of Calgary. Does it matter to have our immigration done in Montreal (just transit flight)and than go to Calgary. Actually the rule in Canada is that ''where ever you land first your immigration is done there.''
