This is our thread and it was just a suggesion (PM) by a new member. I will follow , what all say. I dont care for loosing and winning something cut. More on ECAS:
In my case, I submitted my initial application in Mar-2008 at CHC Islamabad. Since then there is "We started working on your application ....Mar 2008" and it is same as of today. Whereas, I got my 120 days letter in Jan-2009, forwarded full application in May-2009. They verified my employment history in this month but .... my ecas status has never changed... Hope this example will relax you somehow.

its great to see how everyone is helping each other out here.
I sent my application on June 06, 2009, and I tracked the FedEx, it was dropped at the CIO on June 11, 2009.
I have NOT HEARD ANYTHING from the CIO uptil now.
does that usually take this long to get just a letter of acknowledgement?

nothing to worry if your application has been received by CIO as more application have been received by CIO as more & more people are applying. My application was received by CIO on 20th March 09 & they signed the letter on 7th April. But one of my friend sent application in May 09 and in June 09 he received reply via email.

Hi Amidala, as rigmarole said "nothing to worry". You just chill. Initially CIU was used to respond withing a month (30 days) but as you may have noticed that CIU is a central office and it is very difficult to respond worldwide. Roughly it may take 75 days.

Dear Immigrants,
I hope all are keeping well. kindly guide me while completing my Application form. following are the details.
I am working as "SAP B1 Team-Lead Consultant " for the last two years and before that i have work experience in similier domain i.e. SAGE ACCPAC Lead Consultant. both of the above mentioned experiences ( total of 4+ years) falls in the same field i.e IT Consulting.
The above both related to ERPs.
As i heve been gone through the "List of 38 occupations - Canada" i have found the 0213 =Computer and Information Systems Managers.
another one i found in the NOC detail list is 2171=Information Systems Analysts and Consultants .
please guide me, which may be good for me.
