Hi all. Just wondering. Is anyone aware of a similar discussion forum for people thinking about Australian immigration?

one of my friend applied with me in the same category.....Also submitted the documents with full application and waiting for "provisional acceptance". H eapplied within my time line but have not recieved any provisional acceptance letter. The problem with him is that he have been living in germany for a period of 2 years as a refuge but did't mentioned that in his background declation.he did't made any crime within his stay in germany but the problem was to get the police clearance from germany when he is back a long time ago and no one is their to collect that letter for him. so he just not mentioned that in his background declation. He is worried that might be they will regect his case if they will come to know abt his stay in germany...bec we all have recieved the proviosional acceptance but he is the only still waiting. if they verify by their own sources.

what others comment.

If this is the case then u cannot leave country without NOC as airport authorities will check your passport and once they know u are a government servant they will ask you to provide NOC. My advise is to get a fresh passport if possible. Seniors can shed more light on it.

One of our fellow memeber have advised us by PM that we should give a second thought to disscontinue with this Pakistan application forum. Because first of all it is not sticky and secondly New members feel difficulty to explore all theses 50 pages thread. It is a suggestion and want others to comment on it.Specially the new members.

My point of view is

1. I started it to gather all pakistanis under one umbrella.
2. People from the same culture and region can communicate more effectivelly if they are directly talkin to each other.
3. Sharing the experience and dealing with one and single Visa office.
4. To create synergy within people sharing and helping from the same region.
5. To personalize this thread and motivate people to come ahead and help each other in real. ( In person, cell phone and other communication tools.)

6.  Even to not loose contact after landing and keep meeting and helping till end.

But still we will go for voting and majority will be respected.

Hot Lier, what u guys doing is amazing i recently applied from London CHC, googled this site and found it very informative. i took time to read almost all 50 pages as i need information and get to understand the system better. so i personally think if ppl join this forum they should read all pages to get as much information and learn. Thanks for prompt reply

can any one help me about presentation of my expereince period.
I am working in private sector since 1990 in IT department with same employeer.
My work experience history detail is here.

From 1990 to 1994  Computer Operator
From 1994 to 2003  Computer Programmer
From 2003 to 2005  System administrator
From 2005 to Date  Manager IT

These above period is arround 19 years.

Whether i should mentioned whole period i.e 19 years as per above designation or i will have to mentioned only 10 years experience out of 19 years experience with same employer with detail job description. I suppose to be mentioned from Computer programer to IT manager.

I have also worked with an organization as a freelance programer from 1995 to 1997, whether i should mentioned this experience also and aquire seperate experience letter from that employer for this specific period

Plz help

Shahyan I have heard that they only consider the last 10 years of experience. Seniors can better comment but my understanding is that they give points based on designation and duties. Again if my understanding is correct then you can apply as IT Manager since you seem to have a little over 4 years of experience in that capacity and that should give you 21 points (out of 25). Your experience letter however should very clearly reflect what duties you have been performing. I am sorry for not being help any more since IT is not my area. My brother is in IT but is out of city these days and will be back just before Ramadaan. I am sure there are many senior members in the IT area who can better guide. I hope this is of some help. Regards.

Hot Lier i agree to your concept that we should be under one umbrella. I know its difficult for new members to read 50 pages but atleast they have information on one place otherwise it they would be having scattered information.

Dear All,
Salam,
I am preparing my application under 0213. Kindly guide myself that I had IELTS score which just expired a month ago (IELTS has 2 years of expiry as I know). I had 7.5 Band, Question is; can I qoute same score in application form or do I have to attempt IELTS again before sending application forms in FIRST step.
