Let me explain the whole process for u:

1> Applicant send Initial Application to CIO-Sydney,Nova Scotia Canada(No Docs are reqd at this stage)
2>Application is reviewed under Ministerial Instructions i.e occupation must fall under 38 occupations and duties should match the Occupation as described in NOC(National Occupation List),u can view it at CIC website
3>Once Visa Officer is satisfied that Application is complete and eligible ,they send 120 days letter acc. to which u have to send Applicaiton Forms again with Full Documents to local Visa office .
4>,immedialtely after recieveing applcaition they send AOR(Acknowledgement Of Receipt) which is simply the receipt that says that your dos are recieved by Local Visa Office adn now these will be reviewed,
once they are satisfied that Application is eligible for processig ,Full Application is then reviewed (point grid+ employer verification etc) ,after that they send u letter of Proviosnal Acceptance( In my case I never recieved an AOR but they directly send me Letter of PROVISIONAL Acceptance,though after some delay).In that letter they inform u that they will be sending u Medical Request within few weeks and that ur case is provisionally accepted.

5>After that they send u Medical Request,u undergo medical,doc send ur medical to New Delhi where Canadian Medical Officer finally assess the Medical and send his report back to ur local Visa Office.Once Local Visa oFFICE recieves ur medical and accepts it ,it sends u RPRF+PPR and finally this process ends with Passport STAMPING.

nOW THIS iNTERVIEW USUALLY OCCURS WHEN THEY START ASSESSING UR DOCS and find some confusion ,it is then that they call u for Interview for clarifications.

Hi all, it is a great forum. I am applying  for immigration , I have some questions about my qualifications. I am MBBS, and have done DCH (one year Course), MCPS and FCPS (It requires writing a dissertation and is 4 year training). will I get 25 or 22.there is no university involved in these exams but College of physicians and Surgeons.

With due respect to S.K, MBBS is first level degree and there will be no more points than 20. whatever doc did to study/thesis was requirements of Physician College and DOC did not receive any university degree for that.

Can you please explain why you think it is 25?

Hello all. At the moment I am just gathering information and will formally start the process once I have gathered all details with complete clarity. I have some questions and will be thankful for help:

Some questions:

• What do these terms mean? I see them in almost every post: CIO, AOR, CHC Islamabad, 120 day letter, payment of RPRF
• When sending documents to the Canadian Embassy, do we have to send original documents e.g. Birth certificates of kids, experience letters, degress, IELTS score? I am a little worried but assume that at one stage they return all the original documents?
• When sending proof of funds in a bank account, do we have to send the account statement report for past 3 or 4 months OR can we simply get a letter signed from the bank manager (on bank letter head) saying that Mr. XYZ has X amount of Rs. in his account (which will also be mentioned)
• I remember reading somewhere that they do not accept certificates etc. in a national savings center (Quami Bachaat centers). Is this correct?
• When sending the complete package (containing) all the original documents, funds related proof, marriage certificate, police report, etc. etc, should these be sent via TCS or some other courier service? I have come across many posts related to TCS tracking numbers and got the impression that most people are not happy with TCS and some also ended up loosing documents???
• If you can think of any important document that I forgot to mention above, can you please highlight that
• Do we also have to get a English translation of our NIC's?
• From where can we get English translation of our marriage certificates ("Nikah Namas")
• At what stage does one go for medical test? I assume that the applicant gets some email or a letter from the Canadian embassy providing complete details regarding which doctor to visit on a given date and time for the medical test?
• What is the cost of Medical examination for 2 adults and 3 kids and do we have to pay the cost of the Medical examination to the doctor who conducts the exam or

i am not sure about how many year they count master from pakistan and then after that master from UK ,
but i send my master degree to UK NARIC they send letter that your master from pakistan is equal to britsh bacheler degree , then i did master from UK.

any body know that master from pakistan are 16 year or if not that how many yaers

and how years they count UK degree ?

If you have master's degree form Pakistan and total years of education are 17 then most likely you will be given 25 points. as long as total years of education are 16 with master's degree then 22 points.
