Hello All,

i want to apply canadian immigration, plz help in some qurry as under:
1) My education is MBA with two specilization Finance and Information Technology.
and 1 year diploma in computer Post Graduate Diploma (How much point i get?)

AMERZD> CIC emphases on number of years studied as full time. If your total number of years are below 17 then you will get 22 pts if 17=+ then 25, so you are best judge in your case.

2) My wife education is MA Islamiyat and B Ed two year program (How much point get in this matter?)

AMERZD> You score 4 points (criteria is same as above e.g. below 17yrs 4 pts and 17=+ 5 pts)
3) My First cousion living at Canada (Points?)

AMERZD> I am afraid, I do not know best answer. Reference EG7 www.cic.gc.ca : quote
"Relatives in Canada:
You or your accompanying spouse or common-law partner has a relative, i.e., parent, grandparent, child, grandchild, child of a parent, (sibling), child of a grandparent, (aunt/uncle), or grandchild of a parent, (niece or nephew), who lives in Canada and is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident."

4) How much at least IELTS Score?

AMERZD> Depends how many required to cover shortfall from 67 atleast. Also see this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG72.asp

5) My age is 28.

AMERZD> 10pts

Experties reply required.

Regards,

Moazam

Have look at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assess/index.asp go through assessment, you will find more clues on which you can get more points.

Hello & AoA

I checked my status in the morning today( 23 July ) there were two entries
1. CIO eligibility review completed
2. Received_by Visa Office

And just now i checked my status, entry where CIO eligibility was mentioned removed and now only one entry is visible i.e. Received_by Visa Office. So what is this stage. Moreover the opinion that status is only changed on every Tuesday is not true.

Rao, Hotlier & Domingo kindly comment on this.

lynx_eyed,

1) Send the email to CIO-Sydney: CPC-Sydney-FSW @ cic.gc.ca and include your first, last name, dob, country of birth and country of current residence. If possible also send them the bank Draft number. Request to change the visa office from London to Islamabad. Also request to change your permanent and mailing address from UAE to Pak

2) If not successful is getting things done at CIO stage, Once file is created at CIO Sydney, they transfer the file electronically to the Que of the concerned visa office, in your case London. I am sure you have specified that on the application form

3) Once you get your file number(IF approved) from CIO Sydney, Send an email to CHC London and explain the situation. They will transfer the file electronically to Islamabad and you can submit applicaiton to CHC Islamabad. This step needs to be done, either by CHC London or CIO Sydney as per CHC London request. CHC Islamabad will have no idea as the file is not in their Que

4) If your application is refused at CIO sydney, refund will automatically be processed. Your cheque will go to UAE address.Send the email to CIO-Sydney: CPC-Sydney-FSW @ cic.gc.ca to change your address and tell them where to mail the cheque

5) If the file is approved and you want to withdraw your case, contact the visa office(London), update the address in the same email/fax, and they will send the cheque to the address you requested.

Good luck

I have already shared this in the past and for the benefit of all, would like to share this again that CIO, Sydney does not entertain any queries/questions/requests sent to them by email. When I received my AOR via email from CIO, Sydney, the email had the following sentences at the end.

This e-mail address is solely for the purpose of communicating to clients and/or their representative's further instructions regarding their application. This e-mail box is not being monitored. Any future communication/queries to this e-mail address will therefore not be answered.

This is self explanatory and clearly means that they will not reply to any emails. So do anything except emailing them.

sskhan, just like amerzd said, none of us is an immigration lawyer or consultant. we all give suggestions based on what we experience and observe. but anyway, i can't seem to find your question? what was it? i will surely respond if i know of an answer.
Hi lynx-eyes. Here's my question. I spent about 3 years in USA a long time ago but am now living in Lahore. While gathering information about Canadian application I learned that I will also be required to do some finger-printing things for FBI (USA) and the state in USA where in lived. I want to know from where (in Lahore) can I get finger printing done to as per the FBI and state of Iowa's requirements. Thanks

I live in Karachi. I got my finger printing done from Police Headquarters. You can do the same in Lahore.
I have a question, does the family whose application for PR gets approved, should land in Canada together or is it possible to land separately.

Dear All,

One of my friend has recently completed MBA (Finance) but has been on job (finance related) from past 4 years. He has done BIT(Hons) earlier. He is working as Finance Officer in a company.

Please give your input if he is eligible for Canadian Immigration.

My doubts in his eligibility are as under:
1)His job experience is before his completion of masters degree in Finance
2)His bachelor degree was in IT

I don't seen any issue with your friend's case. He may go ahead any time.
