Hi,

I need you guys help. As some forum friends replied and they said that I dont need to declare funds at landing time which we will bring later. If I dont declare my funds at landing time, at later do I need to pay any Tax etc? Same thing with jewlery which will bring later.

I would like to mention list of documents which I have prepared for landing, please confirm and advise for any correction, mind it that we will land and stay there only 3-4 weeks and comeback, later we will go there permanently:

1. I filled B4A forms for all our household items which we want to bring in canada later.
2. I filled B4 form for jewlery which my wife and daughters would wear at landing time.
3. I have documentary prove of funds which we want to transafer to canada later (no form filled).

Please reply me soon because we have to land there in couple of days.

Regard.

From what i know,   procedure is that u contact local Pakistani counsulate in USA & they might charge a fee.
They'll get police certificate for you & mail it.

Hi jhasan,

I would advise you to create tracking (trackitt.com) and compare yourself with others. You might have better idea what's going on and can easily assess how long it may take in your case. (Note: Exceptions are always there and vary case to case).

Regards and best of luck...

Dear Amerzd,

I checked your given website, but could not really compare timelines with mine as avg turnaround time there seems to be alot (250 days approx for replies to documents submitted), probably most of the people there belong to old schemes. The closest to me i could find was i think imran ali.

You can filter the tracking list by country (e.g. Pakistan) then you will see only pakistani. Secondly you can sort the columns as per you matching action you just taken (e.g Documents sent etc). Hope by doing this way you will get more closer idea towards your requirement.
