What docs are required to proof relationship? i read a couple of months ago on this forum that somebody sent all the required docs to claim relationship points to Islamabad but he wasn't granted points and thus got rejection. Anybody from Pakistan who claimed points for aunt or uncle and was able to proofed it successfully?

Dear Jalal, I didn't applied yet but do it in near future..I am gathering following documents to claim relationship points. My Aunt (father's sister) is canadian citizen, documents are: 1 - Photocopy of her Canadian Passport 2 - Photocopy of her PR card 3 - Marriage certificate 4 - Family registration certificate from Pakistan (as she was born in India so she hasn't birth certificate thats why I got arranged her FRC from NADRA) 5 - My father death certificate 6 - Photocopy of her NICOP 7 - Notarized Copy of Bank letters what she gets every month from Canadian banks. (for proof her residency) 8 - Notarized Copy of Hospital letters what she gets every month for monthly checkup from Canadian Hospitals. (for proof her residency) I think above documents are enough but if they need anything else I'll provide them.. Regards

Aameen. By the TCS tracking info provided by one of our friends, it appears that CHC is pretty busy doing their job. May Allah Almighty bring us also in their consideration this week with positive outcome for each one of us. (Aameen) Best wishes, Man J. Hi Friends,
New week has just begun, let's pray something in favour of all members of this forum.

Dear Sohail, Deepest congratulations on the success of your dream. May all your wishes in life come true with Allah's Blessings. Aami Pakistani tumar bundu aashin (forgive me if it differs from the meaning that "We Pakistanis are your friends", as I wrote this out of my limited language skill obtained in Islamabad school before Bangldesh creation!), and wish you and all brothers/sisters of your country success and prosperity. Man J. RECEIVED THE “Long Waited PPR” !!!
Dear Brothers and Sisters;
My “Long Waited PPR” letter has just reached yesterday dated the 23rd of June' 2009. I myself can drop the passport/s putting inside an envelope no less than 8 inches x 12 inches dimension, to the “Local CHC” in Baridhara, Dhaka (which is just a few minutes walking distance from my home) sticking a “Barcode” at the back of the passport/s provided by the CIC in Singapore. I have got 60 days to do so starting from the 23rd of June' 2009.
Once the PR visa is stamped, the CHC will inform me either by post or by telephone to withdraw my passport/s “In-Person” from the CHC. Please note that submitting and withdrawing one's passport/s personally to/from the CHC in Dhaka is optional and a form called Appendix “A” is also provided to fill up and submit with the passport/s along with 4 recent photos. This Appendix “A” is a very simple form which contains information like your and your family members' names, their genders, date of births, current heights, colour of eyes submitting passport numbers, their expiry dates, your contact numbers etc.
Please pray for me. I wish all of you all the best of luck!
Thank you.

I believe all mail from CHC is sent through courier as a standard policy. In very rare case where TCS may not be able to reach, ordinary mail may be used, but I still think it is not true. The tracking by TCS also, however, does not divulge information about the applicant mainly for two reasons; 1. People use different user-names (instead of their actual complete name) on the web/forum, and 2. A lady in the house may receive the letter on behalf of their husband/brother/father during the office hours when mail is received. The tracking info just gives an insight on the workload of CHC and to some extend, the bulk of applicants from various cities. And this info is also incomplete as not all Pakistani applicants are not on this forum. So good luck to few of us who share information with each other on this forum. Regards, Man J. The support staff keeps changing/adding in the immigration section, and they are not the ones responsible to take decision on cases. Their job is to facilitate the qualified immigration officers, maintain records, mails and other administrative duties. I once read somewhere in ministerial speeches that, as a policy, the immigration staff responsible for PR cases would be split into two halves. One to deal with the old cases, and the other half to be trained in Canada for the new fast track process. Objective was to reduce the workload on present team and expedite the new cases in given time-frame. What I heard then was that there were four gentlemen from Pakistan CHC to be trained to deal with cases submitted after Feb 2008. Does anyone have any information about this, or can it be verified? Dear Hotlier and All,
Last month there was job position Advertisement in the Canadian High Commission Islamabad for a assistant program in the immigration section ,tomorrow there is gonna be a test for that position on 6th July,2009.There was also a similar advertisement few months back,looks like no one sticks with them due to the overwhelming task of handling so many cases. So those of you wondering why there is such a delay then this might be a reason. Some one also told me once that they have only one person who handles,analyses and opens up the immigration files,no wonder there is such a back log. Any how imagine those guys who waited 4-5 years for their immigration,we are lucky to be in the fast process,the best we can do is Pray, May Allah help us All
Warm Regards
Abdur Rehman
