I think likewise but the processing and the methodology are confused and nothing is certain these days. I was checking the things whether they are resorting to the verification call or not. It seems they are not doing it until badly required.
I think CIC is in a rush to clear the Pre-June 2010 backlog asap. That's why if they find little doubt in documents they straight away reject the case without going into nitty-gritty. Its done again when status goes in process and thats why some people get rejection straight after going in process due to shortage of points. I saw that in my GCMS too. Thanks |

but these days lots of applicants in this forum is complaining about their status as DM before MR, they are hoping that its the system error, some have found their status corrected after that and some received Rejections letters, but the most confusing part is many are not getting any letter from their CHC's after they saw their status as DM. they are in total dilemma about what they should do now.

Good discussion, at least we should be careful and aware that a verification call can come and should be handled professionally from our offices. As all of us who got MR, PCC, RPRF and updated Forms got them without any verification call, so actually things are confusing at this stage about the verifications in future, but just out of previous experience please do not ignore that Australians, British and Canadian authorities have a history of verifying the Job Experience and other claims made by migrant visa applicants, specially in our region. |

Hi Hinna,
They dont check social websites to check the applicants detail as they dont have time to go through and information available on the social sites are not always correct so they cant depend on these informations.
However they do check companies profile on the internet to see how big a company is and if its even exist or not and this is done only when they have doubts on the experience.
Secondly they just call you in for interview if they have any sort of doubt they will never make a decision on the basis of information available on the social websites.

Not true hina they don't check social websites . If they have any doubt or suspicion about your job verification they can call your employer , you , and the owner of the business to verify and find any contradiction in all of your answers and also it depends on the visa officer you get he might be totally satisfied with your docs and not even bother to make any job verification calls. And ECAS is yesterday's news don't even bother with that you will be getting your MR soon. |

Yes I agree with you. This is quite funny what he said that they go on social networking websites like face book etc.....lolz  . How on earth they can do that... And moreover if some one ever go to any social networking websites how they would find others and what they would try to find, the friend circles?  ? |

They can do everything. Dont forget they have Pre and Post IT boom officers among them.
You cant expect an officer graduated in 80's/90's to work in the same style as an officer who graduated in 2000's.
I did hear something that they do check Websites but this information was never verified independently.
