I think, he has intentionally submitted different dates. I want to tell every member that no body can do / play with your cases on the basis of data you will provide i mean if you tell here your correct dates.

We should not accommodate these kinds of person here whim are not believing in the forum even we should not reply to their queries.

Do we need here to send original Child Birth Certificate to London VO or a certified copy?

Notarized copy of birth certificate of child while original BC of parents. That's written in the guide.

VO received my application on 20-02-2009 and sent me a letter to send my full application within 90 days of the letter dated March 3, 2009. I then sent my full app in June 2009. VO asked me to submit my original docs in September 2009 and I submitted the same in October 2009.

VO issued me a new file number at the time of letter send dated March 2009 but I am confused that is this the 2nd AOR or it is 1st thats why I wrote this.

Kindly help to ask me question so that I can give you a proper answer. I really appreciate your kind efforts.

First of all when you receive 1st AOR the time to submit full docs is 120 days whereas you've written 90 days. What I understand you submitted your full docs in June 2009 & 2nd AOR is still ambiguous. You should have received the 2nd AOR after submission of full docs.

Hopefully till the first quarter or mid of 2012 we'd see some development in pre june 2010 cases.



yes thats correct i emailed VO and get replied that 2010 cases will take 2years or more to finalize as they received 425000 cases between feb 2008 to june 2010 and 144000 cases are still pending..


so just pray and have a good hope (will be blessed by Almighty Allah)

Hi everybody and PARTICULARLY SENIORS

i need a suggestion from all.....

I am from pakistan and applied under NOC 0631 on 22nd March 2011 and received approval on 14 april 2011 but after that my ecas is showing RBVO msg

the suggestion i want to ask is that at the time of application submission i submitted all my documents but my visiting card has got a spelling mistake on the url of my work place and same mistake is in the email address mentioned on my visiting card but the letter headed paper and envelop has got the correct url and email address. What should i do ?
Should i approach to them or............................?
i need replies plz .... as i m too worried coz most of the ppl applied along with me has got some responses from embassy while i have got no response yet

Canadian Immigration announces plan to reduce backlog of family visa applications

Canadian immigration will be accepting an additional 10,000 parents and grandparents into Canada next year as part of a comprehensive approach to speeding up family reunification and reducing an ever-increasing backlog.

The plan, announced Friday by Immigration Minister Jason Kenney, introduced the Canadian "Parent and Grandparent Super Visa" which is valid for up to 10 years. The multiple-entry visa will allow parents and grandparents to remain in Canada for up to 24 months at a time without the need for renewal of their status. Currently visas are only good for six months.

Part of the plan requires up to a two-year pause on new applications so the department can clear the backlog. The pause comes into effect on 5 November 2011.

Presently, more than 165,000 parents and grandparents who have applied to become permanent residents of Canada are still waiting for a final decision on their visa. Under the new plan, the government hopes to eliminate the backlog within five years.

The super visa will be open to individuals already in the queue for permanent residency who have demonstrated they have financial support while in Canada, private health insurance, and, have undergone an immigration medical examination (unless exempted).

Overall, the government will accept 25,000 parents and grandparents into Canada next year, up from 15,000 this year. The government receives nearly 40,000 applications under the family reunification stream every year with a current wait time of about seven years.

"Wait times for Family Class sponsorship applications for parents and grandparents now exceed seven years, and without taking action, those times will continue to grow, and that is unacceptable," said Kenney. "Action must be taken to cut the backlog, reduce the wait times, and ensure that the parents and grandparents program is sustainable over the long run."

"Through this balanced series of measures, we will be able to dramatically reduce the backlog and wait times, while the new Parent and Grandparent Super Visa will allow more family members to pay extended visits to their loved ones," added the Minister.

The super visa will become available as of 1 December 2011; The Canadian immigration department aims to issue visas within eight weeks of receiving an application.

Application reviewed & R.letter sent on May 6, 2009.
Application reviewed and started processing on October 8, 2009.
Application transferred form Islamabad to the London England office on June 30, 2010.
Application form were resubmited on july 2011, along with police cleanence, me and my spouse as asked by VO.
NOC : 4131

I emailed the CIC three month ago in August 2011 to ask about the current status of my application, my VO replied as,

Thankyou for your recent enquiry.
Please note that your file is currently undergoing routine background checks. We are unable to advise when these checks will be completed, however we will contact you as soon as the results for background checks are received.
Now my question is how long roughly this process needs? As i and my spous have submited police certificate in july 2011 and at the moment my application is in process but my mailing address were disappeared form since first November,2011 could i assume that the VO will ask me MR in the coming couples of weeks or some thing else.

If everything is ok in background checks hopefully you'll receive MR in this or early next month.
