PLease can anyone tell me...I have applied for the skilled migrant program and my application is now in process...But  got married now and i have to add my spouse to my application...But the problem is my husband does not have a valid visa...he is overstaying here in UK...

Please can someone tell me if this would affect my application...please please...

You must of have at least one year of legal status in your country of residence.
Legal status means.
CITIZENSHIP
PR
Work permit
Study permit etc.

Regarding legal status of spouse nothing is mentioned anywhere but if your husband had one year UK visa and now it is expired then he also fulfills the above condition.

i am new on the forum and have no idea anyways..
i applied on Dec2009       NOC(1111)
documents submit on may2010
2nd aor on first july 2010
send some updated document on march 2011
got status "in process" since april2011
no medicals
can any one let me know how long they need more 
i am worrying about my original doc... i can avail any other opportunity...please reply and give me opinions...

"We received your application for permanent residence on April 22, 2010.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on July 19, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
 Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.
We transferred your application to the London England office on July 28, 2010. The London England office may contact you"

No one on the forum has a solid answer to this question.
Detailed Knowledge of processing of applications, How CAIPS works ? How ECAS is updated ? either directly from CAIPS or GCMS or someone do it manually?
Structure of the CAIPS Database and either these are ECASE Bugs or something else.
Lot of questions have to be answered before commenting on ECAS Status so just send them an email.

Hello..please anybody i need a quick reply..I am adding my spouse in my application...There is a form that ask to inform all the activity since age 18...My husband has been living in UK since last 8 years and since last 6 years he is without legal status...So during this time he had been working on cash...However the UK prevents illegal workers being hired...So what should my husband write under his activity during this time...

Should he declare he was working...or should he just write voluntary work or employed...

Please would appreciate a prompt reply

My advice is to get your spouse legal status before applying for immigration to avoid complications and delays.

OPTION 1
Fill the Schedule A- Background/Declaration (IMM 5669) Clause 8 as unemployed for past 6 years
mention him as your dependent in  Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008) clause 10(a). DEPENDANT'S PERSONAL DETAILS


For every dependent you have to show legal status in the country of residence and that may cause complications to your case. (IMM 0008) DEPENDANT'S PERSONAL DETAILS Clause 13.

OPTION 2
Just write voluntary work or unemployed during that period in (IMM 5669) and don't mention him your dependent.
But that would be illogical.

OPTION 3
Mention the odd jobs he had been doing in the past 6 years in (IMM 5669) and dont mention him your dependent.

The problem is there are no clear instructions anywhere about this but I think OPTION 3 is the best option.

What if the courier lost my envelop? i request my MR through email or any other Via ?

You can get the appointment from DMP based on this email and get the medicals done.

Salman perfectly replied to your query. I am just pasting below the contents of the Link for your convenience, originally produced by Qorax.

How to do Medicals w/out the forms?

Usually we need to do our meds thru the forms [IMM1017] supplied by our VO [the concerned CHC]. However, there could be reasons for doing the same WITHOUT them. Eg. the forms are lost, the CONsultant is withholding them, forms r somewhere & u r somewhere else etc. In such case, we 'can do the meds w/out the forms' too. Here's how:

1. Email CHC again to re-issue u the IMM1017 [med forms]... if time permits.
2. If not, Contact a DMP for an appointment.
3. Inform the DMP, in advance, that u want to do the meds "w/out" the forms.
4. They can get your meds done by 'creating' those forms* for u.

*Note:
- All DMPs have those 'blank'* forms.
- All they need is an 'authority' to do so. If u have the CHC's email - it would suffice.
- If u don't have an email from CHC, yet the DMP'll be happy to assist u [read they want the money].
- They'll need your File No. + 2xPhotos to prepare the forms [specific for u].
- U need to show the DMP your original Pps & pay the DMP's Fees [of course].

Important: If u do not get the CHC's nod to do the meds, remember the meds expire by 1yr & your visa/s will be valid till that period 'only' [except if anyone of your dependent's Pps expire before that, then it'd be earlier]. So, doing the meds early could be risky - as it might offer u lesser time to 'land'. If that's Ok with u, plz be free to get the meds done earlier.
