Dear friend,
I'm afraid spouse hearing impairment would be a serious matter and can lead you rejection. If interview is waved it would be found by DMP in Medical. I'm not an expert but have heard on this forum. You should also check it from Qorax, leon as well.
Thread Below might help you in this regard:-

Hi

After reading your post I want to ask that will a candidate with high visual problem be rejected (even though got degrees from universities and working after graduation)?

Dear, London VO does not send a list of DMPs. Rather they provide a reference link to the Website from where you can check DMPs in your area.

This was the case with me when i was sent Medical Request.

No issues. You will be thru. Applicants intending to enter Canada as permanent residents may be denied entry to Canada if their health or any of their dependents' health (whether accompanying or not):
Is a danger to public health or safety; or
Would cause excessive demand on the Canadian health care system or on social services in Canada
For ref. check the below thread:-

DMP would figure out during the conversation that person got hearing impairment. Better to tell him prior.
When the Medical Request is issued by the Local Visa Office, the Principal Applicant together with the Dependents must have their Medical Exams with the Designated Medical Practitioners (DMP). To determine the DMP in your particular country, you may go to the CIC site for the DMP Listing.

What are the tests to be performed?
Eye vision test
Physical Examination. An interview will be conducted for confirmation on any major operation, drinking/smoking habits, PTB, blood transfusion)
Urinalysis.
Blood Chemistry
HIV/AIDS Testing
Chest X-ray

What are the things to bring for the medical examination?

Medical Request (MR) letter and Section A from Local Visa Office
Biopsy Report, Chest X-Ray, Medical certificate (i.e. Surgery and Immunization Record for the kid/s) if there are any historical ailments
5 passport size picture
Passport and one photocopy of it
Cash

Dear canada1234

If visa officer will not let me answer the question put on my spouse and resultantly if he is not satisfied then what options will I have, whether they will refuse visa to both of us or just refuse my spouse visa.

Thanks and regards

Dear Azhar
DO TELL the doctor everything about the desease or what so ever it is, AND YOU  ARE 100% safe coz she wil not be a burden on their medical system and i know a guy he used to be on this forum who lost his leg in an accident during the process and has been granted the PR.
So keep smiling and BEst of luck
May Allah help us all
