Continuing of 29 NOC occupation list for further one year starting from 1st July 2011. This time the total number of applications would be 10,000 with 500 cap on each NOC. I think it's a good sign, cic is really looking serious to reduce the backlog. Correction: its 500 apps per NOC 700 is for investor class Continuing of 29 NOC occupation list for further one year starting from 1st July 2011. This time the total number of application are 10,000 with 700 cap on each NOC. I think this is a good sign, cic is looking serious to reduce the backlog. Wait for few weeks & the situation would be much clear. In my opinion it's a good sign for pre-June 2010 applicants. The purpose to welcome only 10,000 applications is to reduce the backlog of pre-june 2010 & pre feb 2008. CIC has already finished 50% of the backlog since feb. 2008 & the remaining 50% might be finished in the coming 1-2 years. We may expect medical request by the end of this year or early next year. Keep your fingers crossed. |

According to the current trend, it can take 6 weeks to 6 months! give it some time and drop a query again if you don't hear from them in 6 weeks. MSMirza & Seniors
