Assalamualaikum

I am new to this forum. I have submitted by documents through a consultant in Karachi. I dont know what 2nd AOR and NOC are? My status in CIC says that the documents have been transfered to London Office on June 30, 2010 and are pending review. As far as I rememeber, my consultant submitted the docuuments in Feb 2010. As I have seen in this forum, no one in our category has recieved med request. Has anybody idea how much time will CIC London take to the next step.. Please guide

First of all don't rely too much on e-cas. It can be erratic sometimes. You should email to CIC London and enquire the status of your file.
https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/cicemail/intro-eng.aspx?mission=london

Thanks for your reply......
i did send them an e-mail last month.....but reply is still being awaited......
problem is another too......i submitted my case through one of my known friends who is an authorised canadian consultant........he is busy due to his personal engagments since last month.....i have heard that VO doesn't contact to the applicant directly when the case is submitted through a consultant....my consultant would be back into business by the mid of june....i hope he will trace my case out.....

i need to know that does it amount to have worries if e-case status keeping showing silent face as in mine or not.................?
Regards

CIC normally respond back within 15 days. Maximum time to reply is 28 days. Yes, your consultant has been authorised to do all the communication with CIC.

NOC    = National Occupational Classification
AOR   = Aknowledgement of Receipt  [ 2nd AOR is the aknowledgement of Full documents received].
E-cas = Received By Visa Office [Normal]

Wait & Relax & keep in touch with the forum, as we all are on same boat.

2nd AOR comes through snail mail. Chances that it would have lost on the way. You should mail to cic London through case specific enquiry and ask them that you have not received 2nd AOR. CIO sydney has already transferred AOR to London. BTW you can login with your 1st AOR.
Below is CIC London case specific enquiry URL:-

Thats correct.
Another thing that if your consultant is an authorized one and you mentioned his name and address in the use of representative form then all the correspondence is done at the consultant address.
Check the mailing address in your online status.
AORs are not sent by registered posts so some are lost in the middle.

Thanks for your replies..

My consultant has submitted my aplication but has provided my mailing address for any correspondance. I got the first acknowledgement in my inbox so I am expecting that this second acknowledgement should also be sent to my mailing address.
