Hi Canada!

Passports can be sent outside Pakistan but one needs NOC from ministry of interior. You can then attach that NOC to your passport package and any courier company will take it. People from Pakistan who got PPR from CHC London have done that before.

check

trackitt.com/canada-discussion-forums/federal-skilled-workers/619048681/passport-movement-pakistan-chc-london/page/2

Thanks

No idea about that. That can be happen in a rare circumstances and ofcourse a hectic process. CIC Islamabad would be given this task. Rest instructions received alongwith PPR will clear the ambiguity. Sending PP is not a big issue, no need to worry before time. Real concern is that when we receive MR and PPR.

Same here, i'am not being able to roll it anywhere, because that will lead to large sums in & out which later we will have to justify if asked and the V.O might be under the impression that the money is not ours!

P.S. Zakaat gets wajib as well.

Damn my money in that account is rusted already.... its been 2 years since i touched that account hahaah

Dear Canada1234,

Would you please share your post regarding things to do to acknowledge VO (and documents required for) about newborn?

Immediately intimate CIC after the birth of new born.
CIC would normally take 15 to 20 days to respond back. Max. time to reply is 28 days.

Meanwhile prepare the following docs:-
1- Apply for birth certificate at concerned Union council [Nadra].
2- After receiving BC go for CRC [Child reg. certificate].
3- After getting CRC apply for passport [Better to go for urgent passport in 7 days].
4- 4 CIC specified photographs.
5- Demand Draft of 150$ fee.
6- Amended forms. Mentioned at the end.
7- Cover letter
8- Copy of passport
9- Notarized copy of Birth certificate
10-Notarized Copy of CRC.

Forms
•Schedule 1:Background/Declaration Form [IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 1]
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/imm0008_1e.pdf

•Additional Family Information Form [IMM 5406]

Also need to include 4 pictures (same specs as of PR card) because i asked them over email and VO asked for photographs as well, don't forgot to put the date stamp at the back of picture (date it was taken).

By sending pictures with all the required documents they will send the Medical request form for baby directly, else in second request you need to send the photographs any way.

Thanks

More transactions in the account statement increase its value. You don't have to block your money. You can keep it in circle. That means keep using your account.
For salaried persons like most of us the only legitimate credit entries are salaries
If you the total amount in your account is less than their limit then there is no need to worry if your money can be recovered and brought back to your account within 45 days, You should provide a solid proof to track that credit entry in your account to its source.
For example
One can purchase saving certificates but at the time of immigration if they ask for liquid funds then those certificates have to be liquidated and a proof has to be given to CHC huge credit entry in the bank account is liquidation of saving certificates.
Similarly you can purchase property but at the final stage you have to sell that property and bring that money to bank with a proof that I got this money from my sold property. (I dont recommend doing that because CHC gives only 45 days to submit all the docs with bank statement in the final stage before issuing visa and selling of property in such a short period is a total loss).
In short as long as the money or and asset is yours and it can be transformed into cash within 45 days there is no problem.

Salman

CIC/CHC will have to do the criminal records checks, background checks, it would take time & she will have to wait until medical instructions are issued, and it is quite possible that till that time you will require a new medical as yours will probably be over a year old, by the time her processing is finished.

More transactions in the account statement increase its value. You don't have to block your money. You can keep it in circle. That means keep using your account.  Atleast one transaction in a month is ok. A/c looks active but shouldn't be dormant
For salaried persons like most of us the only legitimate credit entries are salaries In Pakistan how many receive the salary diect in account. It is neither written anywhere in guide nor seen on this forum before. POF a/c could be apart from salaried accounts.
If you the total amount in your account is less than their limit then there is no need to worry if your money can be recovered and brought back to your account within 45 days, You should provide a solid proof to track that credit entry in your account to its source. Danger
For example
One can purchase saving certificates but at the time of immigration if they ask for liquid funds then those certificates have to be liquidated and a proof has to be given to CHC huge credit entry in the bank account is liquidation of saving certificates.  sudden deposit of huge amount in a/c would make you sceptical & VO thinks that you have borrowed money..
Property valuation or proof of urgent selling of property like this would not be acceptable by atleast CIC London. It is acceptable to cic New Delhi and other VO's
In short as long as the money or and asset is yours and it can be transformed into cash within 45 days there is no problem. Humbly disagree. Property, car, jewellery or other items are not acceptable by CIC regradless of the fact that these assets are on your name OR at the eleventh hour you would sale and put money in a/c. They want cash in liquid form in a/c. CIC during the process can check anytime POF in the a/c with or without informing applicant. The funds should be in the a/c all the time. Should be deposited 3-6 months before full docs submit till the visa received. BTW if you have urgent need take out max. 20% of funds and try to put them back as soon as possible. 80% should always be in the a/c all the time.

Salman

Hello all,

I received my Medicals Request (MR) two weeks ago from CHC London via TCS. Almost missed it, as TCS does NOT deliver the package but rather calls you to their office to collect it (with original passport/NIC etc). They kept calling on my home phone which went unanswered for two days. Luckily I was in during their third call.

Inside the package were two form letters, Medical Forms for my family, plus some returned originals(my Police Certificates, IELTS report, Children's Birth Certificates, University Transcripts etc.). The first form letter instructed me to provide the following documents within 60 days. There followed a VERY long list (which went over two pages) but luckily the ONLY two items checked on my form letter were (a) Medical Reports, and (b) Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF). The second form letter gave instructions on how to arrange the Medical appointment. There was also an enclosure on how to prepare the RPRF draft, and a reply label.

From the above, I can conclude that at the time of receiving their Medical Request (MR) some applicants might be required to provide a truckload of repeat documentation (which was mercifully not asked of me). I have no idea why I was spared. Perhaps I did a good job of filling in the forms :-)  , or more probably the forms for myself and my family were relatively straightforward with no complications.

I had the RPRF bank draft (for Canadian Dollars 980 made) and couriered back to CHC London ALONG with a copy of the form letter, and then underwent the Medicals Interview. I made it a point to remind the Designated Medical Practitioner (DMP) (i.e. the Doc) that my medical reports were to be forwarded to CHC London and not to New Delhi as per previous procedure for some applicants.

Waiting for the next step now which should be the letter/email from CHC London asking for photographs and copies of current passports. On the other hand, I could get unlucky and get repeat medicals (as some other people on the forum). I'll keep you folks posted.

Regards,

Hello again,

Forgot to add that there was NO VERIFICATION, or at least none that I am aware of. There were no calls received at my or my spouse's place of work.

Not everyone receive verification call. As you told that the docs were well presented and there were no additional docs requirement might be the reason of no verification. If cic found any doubt only then they would need to verify.
