I agreed with Khalid bhai.  This is what i feel about it and prompted a mild criticism. also sending such an appeal collectively would not work and they may not entertain it because it means the applicants have violated the privacy policy of immigration.  So individual inquiry will be entertained and appeal in bulk will fall flat. try to get the legal point.
Khalid bhai, how is your father now?

A well planned and very well drafted letter, addressed to the point and targetted properly. The main point is Pakistanis are facing discrimination. I like the statement that we have given up other options for the sake of Canadian Immigration and we are really tired and frustrated now. This is basically a mercy plea.

Hina Jamal if you are a critic can you propose / draft a better letter. If yes please do so and I and others would appreciate that. We would love to hear your ideas and your way of approaching the Minister. I also agree with last post of pittabread that people are good at criticsm but are not capable of doing the job themselves.

Well done pittabread and keep it up. +1 for you from my side.

You need to improve your english as well madam.

There is a grammar mistake in your writing "I agreed with khalid bhai". It should be "I agree with khalid bhai"

Text of the petition is perfect. I think there is no need to change it.
This collective appeal wil put more pressure on the CIC than individual ones. They must be aware of the fact that all of us know about their progress through this forum. There is no offence to the privacy policy of immigration even if we share the complete details including e mails, tel numbers, addresses. Most of us not even sharing our names. According to CIC privacy policy only they can voilate the privacy by sharing our details with other individuals.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/notices.asp
Language used in the petition is not at all offensive but more effective.
Once again I request the applicants to sign the petition. This is another way to keep pressure on them. If we withdraw thrust they will forget us. People have tried the individual request but all they are trying to pose is that they are too busy in verifying our papers and there is too much volume of work. Depending upon the avaiable resources CHC London can process 200 applications per day easily

Collective appeal will not work, only individual queries may work.

Hina Gee!

No offences to you and if you can draft a better letter or have good proposals please bring them up. This is a combined effort. Please put up your views and we can add some lines if you want them. I have already asked that. How you can be certain it won't work. The aim of this petition is to get some favour from minister if not 100% we might get 30%. Something is better than nothing.

Even if it doesn't work at all there is nothing to loose. Overall it can provide some good to us but will never harm for sure.

Finally its entirely upto you what you want to do.

Be happy, stay safe and all the best

Lets take the matter legally. how can you say the cases are being mishandled? have u examples to illustrate the mishandling.  The title of the letter is misfit, you are leveling charges without giving examples.  Besides that, signatures will not move an inch, because one must add the immigration file number, names, DoB etc to carry the point which is not possible to share.

Hi!

Dear those applicants who applied under fast track in May2009 or some even in February2009 and 2008 when fast track was first introduced are still waiting for medicals. Fast track says applications should be finalised in 8-12 months. So why is such a long delay and only for Pakistanis. Even Inidans / bangladeshis who applied under fast track in 2009 are getting medicals and PRR.

Then also comes other poor applicants who applied in 2003 and 2004 and their cases are still pending. If you see staralihaider table most guys are from 2009 whose status is still received by visa office.

Today I spoke to a person who works in ministry of interior. he told me canadian authorities can take upto 21 months to complete security / back ground checks that happen after medicals.

To tell you the truth I can see a long long wait for us. You are not frustrated at the moment bcz you are still not that old applicant. But when I see people who have been waiting for years I get scared so I launched this petition

thanks
