http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/releases/2012/2012-03-30a.aspyou guys might have already been through this news, anyhow there is a para at the end of this article/news detail, which states as follows. especially the last line: "Over the last decade, the number of FSW applications received has greatly exceeded the space available within the Immigration Levels Plan each year, resulting in long processing times and an increasing inventory. Under the 2008 Action Plan for Faster Immigration, CIC began to limit intake to priority occupations. The Department added caps to the number of new applications in 2010. As a result of these efforts, CIC has reduced the pre-2008 backlog by more than 50 percent, and the overall FSW inventory by over 25 percent. However, without further action, some FSW applicants might have to wait until 2017 for a decision"

Yesterday i received an email asking for updated documents within 60 days. So recently what is happening? Will I receive the same request through mail as well? also the original documents will be returned now or when they receive the updated docs?

Normally CIC is sending original docs return and updated docs request by TCS. Some by ordinary mail. I think you should send updated docs ASAP without waiting for the request by mail. Use the email as request letter from CIC. Remember send the copy of this email with updated docs. Hope that clears. |

Ok. Thanks. It was long wait to hear from them. Normally CIC is sending original docs return and updated docs request by TCS. Some by ordinary mail.
