Dear Sir,
I need your expert advice
My name is Hasnain Ali Khan, from Karachi Pakistan. I applied for Canadian immigration in 3rd march 2008 through so called fast track. My case comes under the old policy. Just checked my status on internet mentioned
We started processing your application on March 3, 2008.
second line
We transferred your application to the London England office on January 27, 2011. The London England office may contact you.

I need to know how much more time will it takes to properly start the procedure.

Application Filed: 3rd March 2008
AOR (PER) : Dec 2008
Ecas: in Process
VO: LONDON

AOA...

Well...I have two cases running at the same time...one is from Feb 2008...just before the list changed...and the other one is from 2010...from the 29 categories (fast track)..

On ECAS...my 2008 application shows the same as urs....honestly speaking...if u fall in one of the 29 categories...then I would suggest that u send another application....otherwise....u have nothing to lose...just let ur application get processed on its usual time....

How long will it take?? Well.....I dont think anyone can answer that question....but I 'm pretty sure....its not gonna be too soon...

Best of Luck !!

First thing, there are no Sir/s here Smiley We are all like you. There is no need to post personal details as well. BAD IDEA to post personal details on the internet or Forums.

Anyways, SoMeOnE-SoMeWhErE has given you good advice. We were also (kinda) in a similar situation, wife was principal applicant in 2006 for Immi, chances looked slim for that application to resurface...Thought thought thought and then reapplied in May 2011, and we are already at Medical Req.

Apply if you can, if you cant then off course no other option but to wait. Though it will be long before you get a decision.

Off course it will cost you more, as your previous fee is gone.

Dear SoMeOnE-SoMeWhErE,
Yrs noted with thanks, actually I am new in this forum and I didn't how to even checked my own post, I was lost that is why posted same case so many times. But any how now I got the proper reply from you.
1--Regarding re-applying; will my previous application discard or both will run?
2-- The new policy have a very thin chances cause they deleted many NOC in which people applied easily , so it has to be re-selected again.
3-- Is the same person re-apply for the immigration or any new family member have to apply?
4-- Aren't CIC charged me any type of violation for re-applying?

Please advice

1--Regarding re-applying; will my previous application discard or both will run?
It will run parallel untill one is finalized

2-- The new policy have a very thin chances cause they deleted many NOC in which people applied easily , so it has to be re-selected again.
If you or spouse are not in the NOC list, you cannot apply, no two ways about that.
If you are in the NOC list, then chances are not thin (like you say), if you make the points, you are in.

3-- Is the same person re-apply for the immigration or any new family member have to apply?
Anyone can apply, no issues.

4-- Aren't CIC charged me any type of violation for re-applying?
No. You are not violating anything, except your wallet Cheesy
