For how long your background checks are going on.
As my background checks were started in Agust, 2011 and still going on.

the Visa officer with the initials LBM is too slow as in my 2nd case specific enquiry i got the response that my case is pending review.

very similar reply to my case specific inquiry, we all are in same boat jewa, its so annoying to be uncertain, may Allah help us all to complete this process as soon as good.ammin

pending review means the file is not yet been in process whereas the verification checks means ur file has been reviewed and they started processing like verification etc etc

living in islamabad


i have observed that for people from pakistan they do lengthy background checks and after back ground checks they do security checks. so people we need to be patient. pakistan falls in special high risk countries. i have seen some people on this thread who have done medicals are waiting for passport request but first they need to go through security checks which can take 4-5 months...in short we need to wait and for us its a long wait compared to other nationalities.

btw anybody got in process in january from pakistan like me.

docpak your security checks are underway and it can take 4-5 months so be patient..we fall in high risk countries so long wait is possible

after seeing tracker and reading this forum i have also observed that so far just one pakistani applicant who is actually living in pakistan got visa. he is sam786 i think. no one pakistani resident from post june applicants got visa so far. some pakistanis got visa but they are not living in pakistan. they are living in middle east like saudi arabia. devillhimself got visa. he is living in saudi arabia
