Paid the wrong fee

So my husband paid the fees online, and told me they added up to 1100 instead of 1040 like they should have.. I believe he paid the 550 'family member of applicant' fee instead of the ROPR fee..

What should we do? Call the CIC number? Include a note with the receipt when we send it in?

 Call CIC give them the recipt number and include the number in your app.Online payments are stupid so many choices i took mine to a bank paid it got stamped sent it.

He'll call today, thanks. He said that the computer he used had the website all messed up.. we even logged on the website while I was there (on another computer without a printer) and I showed him the RPRF, but he said the option wasn't even there when he paid on the computer at the lab (so he could print). Grrr.. hopefully it's an easy fix.

Hubby just texted, it's sorted out so I guess it was an easy fix

My wife overpaid when we sent ours in and they very quickly issued a refund for the extra amount.

Thanks Alan. Just wanted to put this out here in case anyone else needed the info. The call centre said as long as it's the right amount of money it doesn't matter which things you check off on the checklist. As Alan said, they will refund any extra money. Good to know, as a lot of people have been commenting on how confusing the website can be.
