Paid Internship before graduation = Work Experience?

Dear All,
I got my internship paid job before the graduation from university. My question is whether the internship period able to be added to total work experience ,because I did have salary pay slips and internship contract.

BTW, I have worked over 3 years in the same company since the internship.

As long as it was full-time employment, yes. However, ideally you will need to supply work references listing the hours and duties etc. Without the references CIC may not count the experience based on the salary slips and contract alone. Does the contract specify the duties and the hours worked?
