Dear seniors

I am the PA, i will land alone first and stay for one week and come back to my home country, then in January ii will bring my family and do landing again. Pls share with me ur advices about:
- two lists of goods : when to show them, first landing, 2nd, or both
- i need to apply to travel document from local canadian embassy to be able to enter canada gain?
- can i give at the first landing an adress for PR card in a state other than the one which i am landing in? For example landing in Saskachewan and putting an address in toronto for delivering my PR card.

Bring your goods to follow list at first landing; Your accompany list in first landing and subsequent entries.  If you can ask someone in Canada to receive and forward the PR card to you, you don't have to apply the travel document and be able to enter Canada again (unless you have a visa-exempted passport).  Any address for PR in Canada is ok regardless Saskatoon or Toronto.

Hi mrprice,

two lists of goods : when to show them, first landing, 2nd, or both - First landing show the list and get one stamped.

- i need to apply to travel document from local canadian embassy to be able to enter canada gain? Yes, because you are leaving Canada without your PR Card, To come back to Canada you need  Travel document in lieu of PR Card ( for you only)

- can i give at the first landing an adress for PR card in a state other than the one which i am landing in? For example landing in Saskachewan and putting an address in toronto for delivering my PR card.

Yes, you can.

If you have a visa-exempted passport (such as US passport), you don't need a travel document in order to return to Canada!
