Question for those who recently received an OWP... I was just recently granted AIP so I will be sending my app soon, so my question is, in your experience, how many days did it take for you or your relative/friend to receive the OWP in the mail...

  Thank you !

Have you posed this question on the Inland thread? I know there is a 2010.....is there not a 2011?

Better to post this question to the 2010 Inland thread. No one in the 2011 thread has received AIP yet (CIC is still working on applications from 2010).

Really? No one? Not even those who applied in January? I thought it usually takes 7-10 months to get to approval in principle.....

Thank you guys... I usually participate in the 2010 thread... I got AIP 2 weeks ago and they received my app in  nov 18 2010 so the 2011 thread if far far away from receiving AIP still...  I just wanted to ask this in the common page to see if someone knew about it...

  Thank you for your answer

Looking at a similar question posted on another forum, it appears as if the answer depends on whether you submitted the OWP application together with your inland PR application or not. If yes, you'd get the OWP in the mail soon after receiving your AIP letter. If you applied after receiving the approval......well then it could be weeks......isn't there a processing page for OWPs that Vegreville or whoever updates as they do for sponsorship approval time at Mississauga?

It took me long time. I applied for OWP after I received AIP in April. And I received OWP just in the beginning of October. I thought it could be faster
