hi  i applied for 1 month visitors visa and i got 6 moths one.... am i overstaying if i am still over the 6 moths period of time but outside the 1 month i asked for.

hello,
is your visa just 1 month only? and you had a stamp in your passport at the port of entry that allows you to stay 6 months?
if that is correct, so you are not overstaying until the time set in the stamp is not passed
