HI there all !!
I have overstayed my student visa and i got married after 9 months of overstaying . I applied for PR inland and I got to the stage where I got CSQ . My question is that what are the affects of overstaying my student visa on my pr processing and should i apply anykind of restoration of status or a work permit .

1.  You are too late to apply for restoration.   You could include a request for an OWP with your application.
2.  With the overstay, you will probably not get AIP, but will have to attend an interview.

Hi,

My friend is a visa student too, and her study permit expired 1 year ago. However, she did not come back to her homecountry even though she received deportation order from CIC . Now, she gets pregnant. His boyfriend is Canadian citizen. Can they go to City Hall to register certificate of marriage? Is she allowed to stay in Canada when her child is born? What should she do now? She's stuck now. Please help her.
Thank you all

She can get married, but that and her child will not give her forgiveness for her illegal stay. It changes nothing.
