Hi, I just posted before but my post didn't show up.

I overstayed my Canadian visa for 4 months and I went back to Mexico.

I asked for a new visa and they asked me to restore my status paying a certain amount of money. I am now waiting for the answer and then want to re-apply for a new visa.

Do you think i will be able to get it and if yes, how long the whole procedure will take before I can get it? Or do you think I will get a refusal or any punishment for my overstay?

1.  Honestly I don't think that you will be issued a new TRV (Required for Mexican citizens) because of the overstay, CHC will probably take the position that it is unlikely you will return to Mexico at the end of your stay in Canada
