I stayed legally on my F1(Student Visa) legally in the USA from Aug 1998 till Feb 2002.Than I overstayed my F1 visa from March 2002 till April 2006.Now I am planning for work permit for Canada.How my past overstay record in the USA will affect my work permit application for Canada?

It will be difficult to get as CIC would assume that you will overstay in Canada as well.
