This question has probably been answered already...my apologies if it has...

Why does it seem that Outland applications are quicker to process then Inland ones?

I thought it would be quicker to have an Inland application because the person is in Canada, therefore if information, interviews, are etc are needed it could be obtained faster so that decisions for PR would be processed in a faster timeline.

Also...it has been only a few months since my husband applied Inland...would it just be faster to withdraw his Inland application and just apply Outland?

Application Sent:  August 2009
In-Process:  September 2009

I believe outland is quicker because they view it as a higher priority being that the family is seperated. I could be wrong, but that is my understanding of the process.

Thank you Nyssa =)

I can totally understand being separated from family.  My husband and I long-distance dated for 4 years and we did not want to have our married life separated by a border.
