Hi everyone,
I had my interview and it was very tedious and lengthy. The officer requested 3 additional documents including ielts at the interview and proof of relative in Canada. Do you think there is still a high possibility of rejection once these documents are submitted or would the officer have rejected me at the interview without asking for the additional documents. Some say it is a plus and my chances are good. Any one with an experience like this after interview?

Thanks.

Dear Carigirl, in my opinion it's positive sign because they asked for further documents. They would not ask further document if they decide to reject after interviewing you. Don't worry, best of luck for the process ahead.

Agreed... If he / she wanted to reject you, wouldn't have asked for additional documents. Keep  fingers crossesd. Smiley.

You are the best judge of the situation. Yes, asking for additional documents is a good sign. But if getting these documents was the sole aim there was no need of an interview. I was sure of getting visa after my interview.

I had mine 3 weeks ago. Though I was by the interviewer that a letter would be sent to me after the interview to indicate the documents and forms for my wife to fill (since I didnt include her as a spouse b4 the interview). I recieved the letter posted same date of the interview, asking us to pay for my wife's application form and RPRF.

Thank you everyone for the positive comments and yes I am definitely keeping my fingers crossed. I applied under AEO and the third doc was the offer of employment letter. I do have both documents just awaiting to take the ielts test, get the results and submit it. The documents requested were pretty basic, but no one ever knows. Oh and it has been over 3 years since I applied so officer was doubting my AEO. I answered all questions honestly and I do have all paperwork explaining to her that my AEO was legitimate but I assume it is their job to drill us at the interviews. It is just so weird that people who obtained illegal job offers in the past and were caught makes the system more difficult for those who take the honest route. Why do we pay the penalty for their wrong deeds? Nevertheless luckily I have the docs so once submitted I hope for the best.

Good luck to all and thank you for the votes of confidence.
